Biology 101: Dissecting Today's Textbooks (teach your kids how to spot Evo-religion in textbooks!)
Answers Magazine ^ | Roger Patterson

Posted on 08/05/2009 11:15:25 AM PDT by GodGunsGuts

Today’s top-selling biology textbooks present evolution as the only scientific view of the history of life. Often these textbooks use faulty or deceptive evidences to support evolutionary ideas. Fortunately, students can easily equip themselves with free materials that dissect textbooks and reveal the truth...

“I don’t see a conflict between Darwinism and intelligent design.”

It’s simple when you just divorce yourself from all logic...

Evolution is an undirected process directed by God.

A purposeless process with purpose.

A random, accidental process unguided process, that’s really not...so...ummmm random and...not...exactly an accident and oh yeah....all guided by God.

And an undesigned process, DESIGNED by God...

but best of all an unitelligent process...well you get the picture...

it’s kind of fun imagining someone trying to explain themselves when before God and He asks, “What did you mean by UNitelligent anyway junior........”???????? LOL!!!

“1530 translates to a very pedestrian 1020-1050 on the scale we know when 1600 was tops”.

GOOD GRIEF!

OK, so that puts you Einstein’s at a less than pedestrian 800...your point?

If you interested in antique books I have an original copy of this one:

“Proverbial Philosophy” by Theologian Philosopher M. F. Tupper. It’s a brilliant work.

I think you’ve outdone yourself this time.

I can’t grasp your weird pretzel logic about how since god has been removed from science class that that is now the reason Americans are underperforming in science class?

You seriously don't see a correlation?

Since the NEA godless liberals hijacked not just science but education in general, normal people without the multiple God hang-ups have noticed the fall-off BIG-TIME and complain about it bitterly, especially on FR.

BTW...are you still pretending to somehow be conservative by endlessly taking up for the NEA, ACLU and Michael Newdow types? Or did you just give that up?

It’s a shame, really, because I think we agree on the liberal takeover of public school curriculae. However, since science is science and not supernaturalism, you’re still nuts.

Oh wait....you DO see the correlation, but you just can't seem to drag yourself to the most painful and obvious conclusion!

Uh-huh....if there were any pretzel logic going on it's right here, on display for all to see!

Tell us, how is it that liberals hijacked the entire public school "currculae" but somehow, by some twisted fate, they just somehow decided to give science a break?

Really?

I guess for all this rhetoric about the "evidence", we're supposed to just ignore the zerrhoid appointing a guy that doesn't even think humans ARE humans until they're get this...OVER TWO YEARS OLD...and that's AFTER they're born...

and ignore algore's hot air cult...

and YOU think I have outdone MYSELF this time????

It's always been hard enough to get past your handle, but NOW...

NOW...

well this just has got to be some kind of projection contest on your (evo-cultists) part...

or who can be the biggest nonsensical lunatic?

And you have never provided one shred of evidence that teaching creationism is a significant factor in the performance of homeschoold kids.

Actually, she has, but you libs have done quite the circus contortions to avoid absorbing a bit of it.

GGG: Why study hard?

CW: So when they grow up, they are smarter than you.

Well don’t look now but that’s been a monumental failure too on you liberal’s parts.

There’s just no hiding your multiple liberal failures CW.

The ‘truth’ is that the earth is flat. Does the guide include how to combat the teaching that the earth is not flat?

Why is this flat earth thingy more important to you libs like Chrissy Fit Matthews, than you poo flinging great apes have evolved enough now to fling spittle instead of poo?

OK, well not in ALL cases...you still fling poo we see...so is your ape uncle Chrissy Fit more evolved than you are CW?

Evolution is an undirected process directed by God.

ID believes that most of evolution is an undirected process.

Anyone taught to think for themselves will do better than someone spoon fed and expected to regurgitate. Creationism doesn't get credit for that.

What planet are you from?

Do you know the definitions of hypocrisy and/or irony?

Creationism better explains origins and species and you have to be spoon fed liberal nonsense and regurgitate that liberal nonsense to parrot that it doesn't and worse yet: that people don't somehow have a right to this information or that it shouldn't be imparted to their children as they see fit or that their public money is somehow less important than the godless lunatic fringe minority.

Oh and...creationists come alot closer than you evo-cultists!

I would ask project-much but if you didn't get it the first 56,493 times...

“Why would saying that evolution is a natural (or even entirely natural) process preclude design or purpose?”

Naturalism by definition precludes design and purpose. What are termed “laws” are, under that understanding, no more than the physical characteristics of the universe.

Therefore Darwinism does preclude a designer with purpose, unless Darwinism is going to include belief in design and purpose ala the I.D. movement.

Of course Darwinism doesn't deal with the origin of such “laws” as these would have to be in operation before life's origin.

I find the statements about Darwinism and Christianity not excluding each other to make as much sense as saying atheism and belief in propitiatory sacrifice not excluding each other, and for the same reason.

Evolution is an undirected process directed by God.

ID believes that most of evolution is an undirected process.

Evolution believes that all of evolution is an undirected process.

And some evolutionists, as I said, believe that God directed it...the same ones that make fun of dissenters with endless strawmen nonsense like flat earth.

Go figure.

If you’ve suddenly had a pang of conscience about goal posts, this from the master goal post mover...then let’s go all out and be accurate in our premise in the first place shall we?

The issue isn’t evolution as much as it is evolution taught as fact, exclusionary of any and all dissent...in short the theory vs. the godless cult.

So the true issue is let’s measure when the NEA hijacked education including science, that point where God was stomped out of the equation...where creationism/ID was banned and evolution taught as fact not theory and work from there...

and no I’m not going to show you the dozens of times again...because you’re obviously not in this for what you’re pretending to be in it for...with all your dishonest misrepresentations, irrelevant strawman questions and half-wit projections;

besides, if you didn’t see it the first several hundred times, youre not going to see it this time.

I was talking about the movies...it’s kind of hard to ignore the biological machinery that Darwin supposed was so simple and not so complex, the irreducible complexity...that just can’t be visualized in the book as it is in the animations within the movie...

I also found it interesting about the cell being broken and man has as of yet been unable to put a cell given to him back together, let alone create life in a lab under the “just right” conditions/properties/ingredients.

but if you’re determined not to see it, it simply won’t be seen!

Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, “Here, let me take the speck out of your eye,” when all the time there is a plank in your own? You hypocrite! First take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

If you can't answer the question, just ignore it.

If you can't bear the answers, don't ask the questions.

Considering that most of those never made it to the biology class teaching about evolution, it would be hard pressed to make your argument that teaching evolution was responsible for this.

Ahhhh. but simply teaching evolution was never the issue.

Try again.

Come on and grunt really hard this time CW!!!! I'm pullin' for ya!
