Snitch switch: Turn tables on Obama rat patrol
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | August 07, 2009

Posted on 08/07/2009 3:08:45 AM PDT by Man50D

The White House calls it an effort to root out "disinformation." Critics call it "Chicago thug politics" and "totalitarian tactics."

"It" is the Obama administration's call for Americans to snitch on their neighbors by e-mailing to the White House any communications they receive "about health insurance reform that seem fishy."

The desperation move by Obama, who has staked the "success" of his presidency on nationalizing another 17 percent of the nation's economy – America's gigantic health care industry – comes in the wake of poll after poll saying Americans are scared and outraged over what they're hearing about "Obamacare." (The August edition of WND's monthly Whistleblower magazine, titled "MEDICAL MURDER," is devoted entirely to exploring Obama's proposed health care takeover.)

Unfortunately, the administration's response to increasing public furor over Obamacare – whether expressed at townhall meetings with congressmen, or just by communicating with each other over the Internet – is to attempt to thwart free speech and squelch dissent.

John Cornyn, R-Texas, has demanded that Obama either halt the program, widely known in the blogosphere as the "snitch" program, or define how he will protect the privacy of those who send or are the subject of e-mails to the flag@whitehouse.gov e-mail address.

"I am not aware of any precedent for a president asking American citizens to report their fellow citizens to the White house for pure political speech that is deemed 'fishy' or otherwise inimical to the White House's political interests," the Texas senator wrote in a letter to Obama.

I went ahead and signed, though I also unchecked the box that says I want WND’s email (much of this stuff is too breathless for my credibility).

Also, WND is right, that there is no practical purpose to be served here. Do the White House flaggots want to provoke a First Amendment legal battle royale on top of the endangered Obamacare?

Remember how badly Bush’s snitch line went over??? DU and KOS were seething with heat to the point of achieving a plasma state. Even lots of conservatives complained.

Now, not even a yawn from our lefty pals.

"I am not aware of any precedent for a president asking American citizens to report their fellow citizens to the White house."

This is not what Presidents do. This is what dictators, Communists, and paranoids do.

Every American who does not agree with this Health Care boondoggle should e-mail their own name to the White house. Overwhelm their system. Show the fools how many people are really against their socialist agenda.

I paid under $4400 for a 12 year old Dodge truck. It’s rated at about 17 MPG. I keep it maintained, so my milage is likely better than average.

I’m a little tempted to go for the cash for clunkers just to get a bigger truck.

Another way to discombobulate the flaggots: report stories of criticism candidly, but misrepresent the geographical location. The flaggots are, I think, probably drawing up maps in their war rooms of where they will press first and hardest with the sleaziest tactics, and will want to go to where the opposition is. Don’t give them the luxury of accurate information.

Alas, that won’t work, you have to buy a teeny econobox to get the rebate. (Or would it? You could always sell the econobox and then buy the monster truck.)

I kind of like your idea and thought of it as well. But I see this being a redux of the Mortgage Crisis. I was talking to a colleague yesterday (who claims he is progressive) and he was telling me it was a great idea, it allows people who couldn’t afford cars to get one. I looked at him and said, that is what happened to the mortgage industry, people getting House notes that they could not pay. He had no come back nor did he speak to me today.

Oh, come on John, try harder and you will easily find some national leaders (although not in the U.S.) who have had these pogroms before.

There’s only one way to fight this effectively, and here’s the way (and I’m not saying it’s going to be easy):

Conservatives all over America must compile actual lists of actual email addresses of people who are not conservative (the more liberal the better).

Using those lists, they must manufacture “chain emails” using the names of all the liberals and leftists they can while containing the CONTENT of factual anti-ObamaCare material.

Send those “chain emails” out to all the people on the liberal-names-list using a newly created gmail/yahoo/hotmail account.

Then, using a different account, “report” the “chain email” to the New Nazified White House, thus putting all those liberal names on the new Nazi-compiled list of “opponents of the Obama Dictatorship”.

If enough liberal names (names of real people who are democrats and liberals) appear on the Obama Master Enemy List, it will render that list essentially useless.

It won’t be easy, but it will really gum up the works.
