White House Struggles to Gauge Afghan Success

As the American military comes to full strength in the Afghan buildup, the Obama administration is struggling to come up with a long-promised plan to measure whether the war is being won. ...Commanders in Afghanistan say they no longer pay much attention to how many enemy fighters are killed in action. Instead, they are trying to count instances in which local citizens cooperate with Afghan and allied forces.

There will be no victory for American arms in Afghanistan. This administration has no interest in victory - though they may well have an interest in the APPEARANCE of something like it. So they will make up some set of conditions that they define as “victory” and then run for it at the first opportunity to claim these conditions have been met.

There is also a chance that this administration would be OK with a defeat for our military. We already know that they despise those who fight for this nation and I doubt it would bother them much if our military was taken down a peg or two so as to render them more “amenable” to leftist political domination and weakening in the name of “fairness”.

My oh my, and here I was thinking that Barak Hussein was going to capture or kill bin Laden, as he said he would in his debates with McCain. What an arrogant POS.

The only thing Obama wants to kill is Americans who oppose his political agenda. I have never in my life, going back to Truman, seen the kind of seething, boiling divisions that exist in Barak's America. There were the Vietnam War era protests, the burning of black ghettos by blacks, the civil rights marches, the anti-Nixon haters, etc. But those particular divisions, bad as they were, didn't rip America apart at the seams. They came close but failed. Today we are already torn apart at the seams and slowly bleed to death as a result.

The hatred that liberals have for conservatives today is a perilous one because it's rooted in anti- AMERICAN sentiment. They hate our history and seek to re-write it. They hate our past actions and go around the world apologizing for it. They hate religion, in particular the Christian religion and seek to suppress it. They hate Republicans and seek to bully them into submission. They hate the former white, western European culture established in America and seek to forever change it through multiculturalism and a conscious lack of immigration enforcement. They hate capitalism and seek to replace it with socialism. They hate the military and seek to weaken it. They piss on the flag and beat up those who salute it or pass it out at political rallies. In short, they just hate America and seek to destroy it. Our domestic enemies are relentlessly attacking our liberties and way of life. Our foreign enemies must be watching all this with glee, smacking their lips as they watch us self destruct.
