Doesn’t answer your question statistically, just food for thought from both sides (and there are certainly more examples to be had from either viewpoint):

LOL. I read that three times, and still went...huh?
I stand corrected. You’ve all made well thought out responses with the data to back it up.
Don’t you wish politicians could admit their mistakes as easily?
Perhaps another question could be, “What percentage of black REPUBLICANS voted against Obama (as opposed to voting FOR McCain)”
Not for an old fart like me. I got it.
“The number would be no where near enough needed to make McCain the winner.”
There ya’ go. As much as I disdain the obvious reverse bigotry, it still comes back to that.
We just didn’t field a real Conservative candidate, we let the media do our pickin’.
When I say we, I certainly don’t mean us, as in FReepers or others who believe in the core Conservative values.
“... 4% of blacks voted Republican..”
By the same token, if Hilarious had been the Dim nominee, what percentage of female Republicans would have crossed over to vote for her? Same issue.
Does anyone have any statistics showing what percentage of Conservatives and Republicans voted for Obama?
We know Obama didn't just win with only Democrat votes and black votes, but he also had some help from "some of us."
LOL!!! 99.99%? That is a pure guess!
See the exit polling data I provided a link to earlier in the thread.
Thank you kindly.
No republican anything voted for Caligula.
If anyone voted for him, then they are not republicans.
Another thing to consider is that Ben Cardin defeated Michael Steele for his US Senate seat, despite knocking out former NAACP president Kwasi Mfume out of teh race in the primary, in part because Steele was only able to get 25% of the black vote. For whatever it’s worth, a significant number of blacks were not willing to cross over to vote for a black Republican against a white opponent who had knocked a black man out of the primaries, despite Steele’s significant efforts to court the black vote in Maryland.
I agree with you.
Cant Go Against The Blood!
That’s what My Black Friend Told Me.
He’s Republican and very Conservative.
Perhaps He goes to Rev. Wrights’ Chuch , don’t Know .
Fact is that there is a lot more Racism than We Think,
and it’s Pay Back Time.
“Both of them?”
Colin Powell and wife?
That should be reason enough to quit trying to pander to blacks.
Better to stand on principle and be true to the conservative values that the majority of Americans support.
In time everyone (blacks included) will benefit from the conservative ideas of less taxes, more personal responsibility and smaller government.
<My guess is all of them.
What, even the black conservatives on FR? I know for damn sure I didn’t vote for Bambi, neither did my son. My sister voted for McCain and talked her Dim-leaning son into doing the same.
The question isn’t racist, but to say that all black Republicans voted Dim seems racist to me.
You have to admit that someone not paying close attention would be charmed by the rhewtorical skills of Barry Soetoro. Now that he’s shown his behind to the public, many black voters are paying closer attention. Sadly, a real man among men was not the first elected black president. The obscenity that is Barack Obama will be a difficult stigma to overcome in the future for any good black presidential ‘candidare’. More’s the pity. And we may not have elections in the not so disatnt future. The democrat criminal enterprise may not be able to guarnatee their sweeping victories and would not risk losing power.
That might be true, but the evidence is clear that we are in desperate trouble if people will vote for Hope and Change without knowing what is being hoped for and what kind of change is being promised.
Obama is our president not because of liberal voters but because of ignorant voters.
