What percentage of black REPUBLICANS voted for Obama?
August 14, 2009

Posted on 08/14/2009 8:00:47 PM PDT by EveningStar

I know it's over nine months after the election, but I'm still curious:

Does anyone have any statistics showing what percentage of black REPUBLICANS voted for Obama?

In the absence of statistics, does anyone want to take a guess?

‘Can’t Go Against The Blood!’

As a Bible believing Christian, I take that Noah and the Flood stuff as an actual factual event. If that was the case, wouldn't we all be of the same "Blood"? :) That's how I see things anyway.

Replying to my post. Thought the question was how many voted for McCain.

I know a black Conservative Republican from Tulsa who wouldn’t vote for ZERO for dog catcher and worked against him every chance he got which was almost daily. There is no way Ken Blackwell or Walter Williams or Thomas Sowell voted for ZERO. Have heard 97% of blacks voted for ZERO so that would leave 3% black conservatives who didn’t. ZERO didn’t even win the black precincts in Oklahoma by 97%. It was less.

I’m just curious. Some people reveal their decisions in exit polls.

And speculation is always interesting.

Who cares? Many people made the wrong decision because the Republican party was too busy playing socialism light and handing out money to its own favored interests.

What pisses me off is the number of people in the finance industry who supported B. Hussein Obama with not just votes, but wads of cash. That really makes me mad. And these same fools are now pushing green shoots while ignoring the fact that the regime has gotten in the way of US economic recovery.

BTW, I voted with my feet and moved out of NY to Tokyo earlier this year. Even here, the blush has started wearing off Obama man.

The OJ Trial Is the Perfect Example,
Blacks cried ‘Innocent’
Whites Knew Guilty.

The Abolistionists Roundtable of Joshua’s Trail certainly didn’t vote for him. You should tune in on Sat. mornings from 8-10 est., they stream live on the internet and hear what they have to say. They should be national, but they broadcast from Ypsi Michigan, outside Detroit.

It takes a lot of guts to be a conservative black person. I don’t think very many of them voted for 0bami.

I'm sure there must be some fairly accurate polling data on this. I don't think a conservative of any color would have voted for Obama. Republicans, on the other hand.......

No Republicans voted for Obama: black, white, or other.

If you are a Republican, everything Obama stands for is anathema to you. If not, you’re not really a Republican, and probably never were.

We saw a lot of people who were never really Republicans reveal their true colors in November: Colin Powell, Peggy Noonan, Christopher Buckley, and quite a few more.

The exit polls here say that 4% of blacks voted Republican. Normally, it runs around 10% so, factoring in independents that vote Republican, I would say that it looks like about half did. Of course the same exit polls show that 17% of people who voted for Bush in 2004 voted for Obama, as did 20% of self-identified conservatives. That suggests significant white crossover, too. Obama didn't get over 50% of the overall vote simply because 6% of the black vote crossed over for him.

I’ve wondered the same thing. If that makes me racist, so be it.

When virtually every black right~of~center pundit said that they were voting O’Bumbler because of the “historical aspect” I could only shake my head. I wondered if they would so readily vote for Satan if he had an afro.

In the end I know that it was a forgone conclusion that he would win. How could he not - what with an expenditure twice that of all the other candidates combined, the total support of a slavish State Run Media, and an admitted GW fatigue.

We actually have five, that I know of, AA FReepers. Three of whom, are circa 2000, 2001 sign-ons. I’m sure they voted as Conservative as possible.
