Obama's most trusted henchmen viewed this as a video game: Rahm with the sword and Axelrod with the polls; they studiously ignored that most Americans are conservative and the swing vote idiots wake up faster than they imagined.
I pray that these polls are accurate. The lower Obama’s polls go, the better for America. I expect that Obama and his henchmen will become even more desperate. Remember that when Hitler knew that all was lost, he decided that the German people did not deserve to survive. Obama has the same god complex that nearly all tyrants have, and he is capable of doing just about anything.

That’s the real story. Not only fell for the Obama nonsense, but now give the Clintons approval ratings in the 60s. So if an informed electorate is the bulwark of democracy (Jefferson), we are essentially defenseless, regardless of how low Obummer’s poll numbers go.
You're on the right track. Easy way to make the calculation in your head is as follows:
1. Assume there are 100 votes and Obama is getting 45 of them. That's the latest Zogby poll.
2. If he gets 90% of 13 of those votes that about 12 votes - a little less.
3. So the remaining 33 votes (12+33 = 45) comes from the other 87 available votes. So he is getting 33/87. That's the number and it is about 38%. That's his popularity with whites and Hispanics. Not so hot.

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving Marxist!
Obama is killing himself this week. At first, he says he will not have a plan that doesn’t have a public option, then earlier this week his surrogates are saying he will ‘compromise’ by having Co-Ops... The next day he says no. He was wanting bi-partisan support and then Democrats were going to ‘go it alone’ and now he’s wanting ‘bi-partisanship’ again. He says different things to different groups of people and each group is catching on to his duplicity.
He not only isn’t selling the plan, at the same time he’s selling himself as a complete flip-flopping idiotic buffoon on the entire issue.
It also didn’t help that he demonized 1/2 the country and when that didn’t work, he wants to compel insurance companies to give up private business information so he can villainize them, since attacking town-hallers didn’t work. He’s also managed to alienate some of his base with his flip-flopping. These animals want nothing but complete totalitarian communism and any suggestion of anything that falls short of that is unacceptable to them. Still others that voted for him think he’s in bed with Insurance and Drug companies because of secret ‘back-room’ deals.
The Titanic was ‘unsinkable’ too. There were some that predicted his fall would be as spectacular as his rise. Man, those guys were right.
