…………..You might be a Kennedy.

Plagiarizing Jeff Foxworthy’s ‘You might be a redneck’routine, I think we should have a ‘You might be a Kennedy’list.

1. If you every drove a car off a bridge……… You might be a Kennedy.

2. If you were married for 12 years, had two children and got the marriage annulled……… You might be a Kennedy.

3. If you and Chris Dodd made waitress sandwiches……… You might be a Kennedy.

4. If you ever cheating on a test and were expelled Harvard ……… You might be a Kennedy.

5. If you ever said "Do we operate under a system of equal justice under law? Or is there one system for the average citizen and another for the high and mighty?" ……… You might be a Kennedy.

6. If you ever had an affair with the family’s 14 year old babysitter……… You might be a Kennedy.

7. If your brothers' both had an affair with Marilyn Monroe……… You might be a Kennedy.

Please feel free to add other examples of ……… You might be a Kennedy.

Dude, I'm not a teacher. In fact, I'm a student. I read. I study. And I practice critical reading and synthesis. I am also a mom, and have finally discovered that if I comport myself in a manner which will not bring the wrath of my mother upon me, I'm doing good. My mom would be proud of my comments on this thread. Today is not the day. You? (oh, yeah, and bring it!)

Nor am I a teacher, and it sounds like you must have had very negative experiences with your teachers. If all these posters truly enjoy spilling this hatred for all the world to see, that is really sad. Have you had an opportunity to read Michelle Malkin on this topic? Sarah Palin? Any conservatives that you admire?

Go cry for him with the garbage at DU if it will make you “feel” better.

My point exactly. Replace "Kennedy" with "Reagan" and you are the one who would be right at home at DU. This kind of commentary is low class, period.

I am not crying for Ted Kennedy, though I am trying to make my response one that would be right with the Lord. I guess all I'd say is I hope he had sincere repentance as he passed, and from there, the Lord's will be done. I didn't post that because I didn't see the need to share my thoughts on the topic. I am not the one venting to "feel better." I don't see the need to go on and on about someone who has died.

As for his family getting no sympathy from you... I doubt they want any, but rest assured your post and others like it will be used by the media to build up as much sympathy for the family as can possibly be mustered.

Teddy’s support of abortion and alterations of the immigration laws facilitating the entry of criminal third world scum has killed more American’s than all of the crack dealers combined so I cannot muster even a smidgen of give a damn about what you are trying to do.

Note, Kennedy is not Reagan and deserves all the scorn offered here and everywhere else.

Let the media publish that!

Maybe the sketch below can be engraved on Teddy's tombstone lest the future generations forget.

Very negative, PA was the home of one of the two original state teachers colleges in 1853, Penn State and MI State.

No men were teachers, it wasn’t respected. That’s why they had to establish state colleges to turn out lib teachers, that’s worked well.

The one that really galls me is my sophomore math teacher. I was in the advanced class and the guy bored me to death.

He couldn’t get past the augmented matrix he was trying to solve on the blackboard and called on me. I was reading Field & Stream because I was bored. I had to figure it out fast and simply told him “You made a mistake”. Didn’t tell him where, went back to reading.

Teachers threatened to go on strike in PA back in the late 60s, previously against the law. They should have been fired like the air traffic controllers. When they were paid more they worked less. Believe me, I lived it, and they were the bottom of the barrel.

After I graduated HS my uncle told me about the 4 Social Studies teachers who infested the local tavern, play cards with themselves and no one talked to them. They’d sit on their nickel beer, take up space and wait for a real working man to buy a round. Owner couldn’t throw them out as long as they didn’t empty their glass, but you can bet he was asked to more than once.

If you are told you have an imminently fatal medical condition and refuse to retire from your job ........ you might be a Kennedy.

Here’s what one says, to avoid unseemliness:

I am heartily glad that Senator Kennedy no longer suffers brain cancer.
