I am never going to forget the weepy woman who called C-SPAN about a year ago and claimed to be “a Republican” and who said “Obama and the Democrats may be proposing what people would call Socialism, but we’ve got to give something else a chance.”

I have coworkers who admitted voting for Obama was like throwing a dart and they hoped it landed in the center, and I had another coworker recently tell me he voted for Obama to ‘end corruption’ and he never thought ‘the corruption’ would continue.
I remember someone on FR supporting Obamacare because what we have now isn’t working. Isn’t that kind of like picking the guy sitting at the end of the bar just because you want a husband? And then what - get a divorce? Oh wait, I know - well, we’ll just vote them out. And so the cycle continues...vote ‘em in, vote ‘em out...vote ‘em in, vote ‘em out...and in the meantime because the average American won’t pay attention to details, what *really* gets done?

Hannity was bemoaning this at one point, and Dick Morris correctly explained it to him: “Nobody cares.” Well, not exactly nobody, but at least no one too young to remember the SDS and the Weather Underground.
