Truly, this *has* worked out better than I thought it would. I figured that we be in for at least six months of honeymooning stories about "The First Black President To (whatever)". Instead, we've got "The First Black President to be Less Successful than Jimmy Carter", and we're not even 8 months in yet.

Obama’s biggest mistake was appearing as if he could solve anything when he could’nt and the people that thought he could will tear him to shreds when he fails. We have a crap magician for President, all smoke and mirrors when all there was, was a slight of hand.
The problem is, he's sealed off the lifeboats and is taking the rest of us down on the ship with him.
There will be a segment of the electorate that will go to great lengths to “support” Obama because they are actually supporting themselves as the kind of urbane sophisticates who were evolved enough to vote for a black man as President in racist America. Narcissists all. So you have that bloc, plus the usual lefty knuckleheads looking for their grift.
