Of course consumer protection sounds like a good idea. And it's true that insurance companies can be unaccountable and unresponsive institutions—much like the federal government. That similarity makes this shift in focus seem like nothing more than an attempt to deflect attention away from the details of the Democrats' proposals—proposals that will increase our deficit, decrease our paychecks, and increase the power of unaccountable government technocrats.

It's obvious that Sarah still has the left, the DNC, the MSM and the RINOs all in a frenzy wondering what her next move will be and how it will be perceived...they almost literally froth at the mouth in their efforts to discredit her.

While they do this, and further discredit only themselves in the effort, Sarah is going to write her book, give speeches and promote conservatie principles all over this country in the midst of the Obama administration disaster and gain great political capital in the process.

Then she will support conservative candidates in 2010 and help them win, amassing much more political capital. She will then take all of that capital and make an awesome, stunning, and successful run for the Presidency in 2012.

I read that this nasty piece of work was from the Huffington Post, not the WSJ. In any case, Hillary and Bill Clinton have used (depended upon) a ghost writer. Barack Obama almost certainly did not write his books. Tom Daschle was said to use a ghost; the list of Democrats and Republicans who use ghost writers is very long.
