My husband and I took part in one of the most exciting events in Washington DC in our lifetimes. The crowds were huge, spirits were high, people were polite, smiling and pumped up, and overall, the experience was AMAZING!

We are a force to be reckoned with - and this is only the beginning!

THIS ONE SHOULD WIN THE AWARD:

The telepromter on the right says Promises Promises. LOL!
Folks were stopping these guys to have pics taken with it.
I told them they should be charging for the pics. They would have been able to pay for their entire trip with the proceeds.

BTW, remember I told you there was a lot of applause and cheering going on inside when we were on the phone? Well, I missed the talk given by Lt.Col. Allen West!

The good news is I met him and we had a brief chat that morning at breakfast.

Hey back... It is so interesting seeing the media spin on this..

thoughts that they can write their garbage & the congress critters who were probably out of town will not go further than the false reporting in finding out the facts..

I have been sending the varous link with the pix/info to various congress/senate members to hopefully give then the REAL view

How Ironic!

In the 60’s and 70’s the Hippies wanted to show a community of Peace and Love....Looks like the dream came true..but never how they thought it would-—in a huge demonstration of conservatives FOR their country!

How sad, that the idealism of young people back in the 70’s turned ugly and even now these aging ( but not mature)hippies are filled with anger and intolerance.

You're welcome, Quix! It's the first full aerial photo I've seen (from the top of the Capitol, actually), and if you scroll back and forth you can see how HUGE the crowd was.
