Beck is doing good work at the moment, but he needs to prove that he is for real... for the long term. I've seen so-called conservatives lose their way... then come back.. .then lose their way again. I've heard Beck call himself a conservative, a libertarian, and back to conservative... I think he is just now figuring things out. I like how he's doing it.. .He's asking questions... Levin has a lot of answers though... Levin knows for certain where he is coming from and why he believes what he believes.
I wish all these guys didn't let us see so much of their egos, but it isn't such a bad thing. Competition is good... Competition of ideas is great.
Plus... Levin is particularly on edge lately because after writing a solid conservative book and selling like crazy and having huge radio ratings, he gets totally ignored. I'd love to see someone actually try to debate him... on the conservative shows he goes on everyone basically agrees... I guess people who know history and the law are scary to the Obamedia.

Mark is really bothering me with his almost daily attacks on Glenn Beck. It is so childish and i have never heard him stoop this low. Mark, you are the great one, get over it and get back to your job you do so well. I have honestly stopped tuning in as often over this. WE ARE ON THE SAME TEAM.
To: Sergeant Tim
He’s right. Beck is better.

Levin is smart and has his moments, but I can't pick him up here. Glenn Beck is entertaining and does decent TV depending on the topic. I appreciate Glenn Beck's exposes on the obama regime, but Rush is the master. Hannity and O’Reilly could go away and I wouldn't miss them, especially BOT, but NOT Rush. He should ask for more money! LOL!

It has never been in Rush's business model to get his hands dirty and I'll take some crap for that, but Glenn told people to build this thing on your own and we did, Rush never has or wanted to go the activism route. Also Glenn could care less about the GOP. Where Rush and I part is with taking back the GOP. Like a exotic car that is wrecked, somethings aren't worth fixing...
You think Levin has it out for Glenn, listen to Boortz, last week he didn't want to touch any topic Glenn had....

“Comparing Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh is like trying to compare Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby. Both are great at what they do.”
Nicely stated.

Half the time, Glenn Beck's show is pretty good; but I frequently find myself turning him off after about a minute because it sounds like it's going to yet another re-run of the same end-of-the world melodrama that he's been doing over the last year. Somehow, Rush manages to do a different show every day; and on the rare occasions when he sounds like re-run, it's because he's on vacation and it really is a re-run.

I listen to Limbaugh. I watch Beck. They are both very effective. But if you look at the events of the last few weeks then you have to give the nod to Beck right now because the Dems are dancing to his tune. And that is not taking anything away from Rush. He's been dynamite lately and in the long run he has been The Man. No doubt about it.
The real bottom line - a stupid comparison. Levin should have just passed on the question.

I agree. We’re all working for the good of the republic.
This idiotic back-biting among conservative talk-radio hosts is only helping the enemies of the republic.
To: Sergeant Tim
I agree with Mark...
Beck is outstanding because of his raw courage!
Limbaugh is outstanding because of his raw courage, longevity, coverage, and proven dedication!
Limbaugh took the war to liberals and succeeded beyond his wildest dreams and admits it.
Beck is still being tested and time will tell if he can handle the heat in the kitchen.
They are both great CONSERVATIVE warriors!

Glenn and Rush are not in competition with each other, sounds like someone wants to stir things up!
Yep, that's all it is.......
Bennett, Prager, Ingraham, Levin, Hannity, Rush, Medved....They all are different in their own way of delivering the news and I love them all.

Nothing more helpful to the marxists than for the voices (Yes, VOICES plural) of the right to start hosing down the deck with testosterone in a game of “mine’s bigger than yours”.
When this kind of foolishness gets rolling, we will all suffer in the end. Stop acting like children and work to destroy the left, not each other!

I heard Glenn say this same exact thing this morning. He said that only Rush Limbaugh can say things in such a way that you not only understand it but you can easily remember it. I agree with Glenn. I guess we can fight over them but they appear to be standing up for each other.

Levin is solid and makes great points but his nasal voice makes him hard to listen to for extended periods of time. Of the three Limbaugh is the best combination of style and substance. Beck is growing on me but he does go a little wacky at times as someone on this thread already pointed out.
To: SWAMPSNIPER
I’m surprised that Mark took the bait and fell for that sucker question. And I think his answer belies a bit of gall and hubris on Mark’s part, frankly!
I love Rush. He’s the Daddy of ‘em all. But Glenn Beck is doing a YOEMAN job at kicking butts and taking names! With a SMILE, yet!

I think a lot of the problem is that Rush/Levin and Beck are from two fundamentally different schools of conservative thought. Rush and Levin are more from the Reagan Revolution Conservatives who believe, for the most part, in working within the Republican party framework to advance conservatism. Where Beck is more the “pox on both your parties” populist, rabble rousing type of conservative with a strong independent, libertarian streak.
