Talk show host Sean Hannity is in our Valley tonight.
The topic is water.
But it’s bigger than that.
Some believe its:
Environmentalists vs. Liberty.
Some believe environmentalists are standing on the necks of our farmers and their kids.
And ... some believe they’re coming for YOUR water next.

well i believe that as soon as they starve the people out of that valley the little fish wont matter anymore and a new owner will have purchased it for pennys on the dollar or less.

I can assure you that it IS about the potential loss of libert. I fought enviro-wackos during my entire career. Years ago, decades even, I was calling enviromentalism nothing more than Communism with a friendly face. Now, at last, the face is becoming unmasked but they’ve had a very long time to consolidate their support and their base.
Much of their base is made up of well-intentioned folks paying for slick, colorful “nature” type magazines (full of beautiful photos coupled with editorials of doom and gloom) which goes into their coffers for pushing draconian bills through our crooked Congress.
Fresno is home base for Free Republic. ;^)

Yes and this will effect many more people soon than just in the valley. I think by Christmas we will see a dramatic increase in food prices enough that no one will be able to not notice.

I heard Hannity voice over pimping for Government Motors commercials.
Workers, taxers, shareholders all got raped on the GM bailout and Obama bust out.
The guy is a fraud. Greedhead. Fake. Not to mention a airhead, dumb.
Maybe he shouldn’t have lefties and RINO’s as friends.
And 90% of people will be clueless as to the cause.
The reason Hannity left was because there was one person or perhaps two or three with different names who attacked Hannity constantly on his thread -— the attacks were way over the top, they were personal and childish and hate-filled.
Somebody had a grudge. They intended to drive him off FR and they did.
First they came for the Klamath....remember the bucket brigade of 2001 when the BOR turned off the irrigation water to the Klamath Basin farmers for threatened sucker fish and salmon? Nothing was done to change that and now we have the Central Valley issue. This is just a continuation of the choke hold of fringe special interests allegedly speaking “for the environment” who have beeen inequitably empowered under lopsided environmental laws.
By the way, all the hundreds of thousands of acres burned in northern CA over the past few years is a direct result of environmentalists blocking management of our National Forests and the tremendous build up of forest fuels, brush dead and dying from insects and overcrowding. The unrealized disaster is that once burned, many of these forests are converting to permanent brushlands. The frequency of re-burn has escalated so new trees can’t get established.
As far as I know, NO ONE ELSE is covering this important story...
I am listening.....it is shocking.
I have been watching with great interest because when we lived in the San Antonio area we had water restrictions because of the snail darter in Comel Springs. I am tired of fish over people and glad Hannity is spotlighting this from the San Joaquin Valley.
Watch grocery prices rise with tomatoes being lost due to this lack of water. In fact, I am going to stock up on tomato products for winter tomorrow.
