ACORN -- the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now -- is stinking up Washington.
And this is far more significant than if a suspiciously large number of operatives for a purely "private" outfit had been found systematically bending and breaking the law, because ACORN receives and spends taxpayer money -- lots of it -- and had carried the imprimatur of official partnerships with the IRS, the Census Bureau ... the kind of "cred" that in the political world comes only from "who you know."

Dirty Harry is a criminal type politician and probably was getting some big bucks from ACORN for re-election. Has to stop any probe he can. Don't expect an investigation unless the right takes back Washington ( maybe they'll cave, too). Without ACORN and it's affiliates doing the dirty work, democrats don't win elections.
Any attempt by the left to claim they're having an unbiased investigation of ACORN is a lie.

Looks like we are going to ahve to wait until after the 2010 elections to see ACORN and the other democratic party criminals investigated. It gives us a wonderful platform to run on though.

I wonder how this plays with the powers-that-be in the Mormon church.
I don’t know how/if they employ “church discipline”, but you’d think
at least some of Reid’s co-congregants are going to give him an
earful over ignoring government-funded workers giving advice on
how to run houses of ill repute staffed with 13-year-old illegal aliens.
And cheat on taxes at the same time.
