I hope that we are better a secrets than this. I hope that these stories are bs and that we already have the buster in service.
A really dirty nuc delivered on site would be one way to neutralize the plant.
Like the way you think!
Remember when the israelies took out the syrian nuke sites? The syrans were so ashamed they claimed they did it themselves by accident...at first.
We has something better! The B53 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B53_nuclear_bomb
They are getting old, so time to “use them or loose them”.
Won’t the fallout from the material we’re destroying render the place too hot to re-occupy?
Maybe, but doubtful.
Do a double decker - First one at T-1; Second one 30 minutes later with same GPS co-ordinates.
Seems kinda late for this.
Maybe the Saudis will do it themselves. Wouldn’t that be interesting?
Fifteen tons
What do you get....
If you see me comin', better step aside
A lot of men didn't, a lot of men died
One fist of iron, the other of steel
If the right one don't get you, then the left one will
They are probably already there. Most likely they have factored in the extra weight that will be added when our guys paint "This one's for you Imadinnerjacket!" on the side of it. The extra 0.0000000002 kg of paint weight should get your additional 0.0018575 meters.
LOL!!! Natanz has a couple of 30,000 square foot underground enrichment centrifuge facilities. Blasting both of those open would release huge quantities of UF6, (gaseous Uranium HexaFluoride).
UF6 is not only radioactive, but extremely toxic -- and one of the world's most corrosive materials.
No one would be charging in there anytime soon after the (conventional explosive) bombing!
You're forgetting that for liberals, military action isn't a means to disable the military capabilities of an opponent and decapitate their political and command structure, rather it's a form of communication. We will hit Iran at one site and then BO will appear on TV or before the UN explaining that Iran should have now received "the message". Watch.
True. But if it’s hot enough, what do you even need ground forces to come in for at all?
If the Israelis do it, how likely do you think they are to trust him and go along with his reservations? I think they would be more inclined to do what needs to be done.
Since Bibi is in charge, they won’t mess around. They know they’ll have a small window between when they start and when the the furor over their action grows strong enough that they have to stop.
The weight is the entire weapon, which has quite a bit of technology involved internally to function correctly after penetration begins.
60 meters. 200 feet, more or less.
Is this into dirt, gravel, or rock? Big big difference, and IIRC, the facility is in a mountian, which would mean it’s probably rock.
Pathetic that I have more faith in the Israelis to do what needs to be done for the world than I do in my own government. Pathetic, too, that I am in position of having to rely on the President of France to represent and defend my views regarding the Iranians.
