On October 2 and 3, Americans for Prosperity Foundation™ is hosting the Defending the American Dream™ Summit where Americans for Prosperity will sponsor a national Town Hall meeting at the Capitol – while Congress is actually in session – so your Senators and Representatives can hear directly from YOU!
The Town Hall meeting on Friday afternoon, October 2 will take place on the Capitol steps and then we will go inside the Senate and House office buildings to visit YOUR Senators' offices along with your Congressman's office. Our goal is for these Senators to see a steady stream of grassroots activists like you taking our freedom message right into their offices after our Town Hall meeting on the Capitol steps. Then, on Friday night, AFP Foundation will host the 3rd annual "Tribute to Ronald Reagan" dinner and the following morning the Defending the American Dream Summit.
You'll hear from leaders like Newt Gingrich and Larry Kudlow along with FOX News contributor Stephen Moore, freedom champions in Congress like Senator Jim DeMint (SC), Congressmen Mike Pence (IN) and John Shadegg (AZ), Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN) and many others at Americans for Prosperity Foundation's 3rd Annual Defending the American Dream Summit on October 2 and 3 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA.
Most importantly, YOU will be joining fellow freedom fighters in Washington while Congress is in session during the most crucial moment in the health care and cap-and-trade battles.

I’d hope that there will be “regular Americans” having the chance to speak and voice their opinions too, not just public figures.
