America’s evolutionists: Hitler’s inspiration? (These guys could be Zero's public health advisors!)
Creation Magazine ^ | Jonathan Sarfati, Ph.D.

While the horrors of Germany’s Nazi past are well known, it is a well-kept secret that similar programs were also prevalent in some Allied countries. The award-winning investigative journalist Edwin Black has documented America’s huge selective breeding and forced sterilization program in his book War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America’s Campaign to Create a Master Race...

Numbers 5

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.

So why do they get so mad when we compare them to Nazis?

People have traced the line from Darwin to Sanger to Hitler many times.

While your quote may be correct it is being used out of the context of this article.

Comparing evolutionists to Nazis now?

Good luck with that tactic.

Because, as the article points out, it was the horrors of the Nazi holocaust that discredited the fascist public health movement.

In the case of the fascist public health movement, too much exposure is not enough!

Margaret Sanger's "Pivot of Civilization" (1922) was the "Mein Kampf" of the Darwinian Eugenics movement:

It sure is interesting that the hygiene rules they followed kept them healthy even before people knew about germs.

Too bad the medical community in Simmelweis’s day didn’t follow some of those guidelines. It would have saved a lot of lives. Instead they laughed at him for asking them to wash their hands.

We wouldn’t want to jeopardize the “fascist public health movement, would we?

Yes - I was not dismissive of the effort, just mentioning that people should be well aware of correlations.

Then again, there are many things people should know, but were never taught.

Thanks.

Like the race card:

Playing the Hitler Card demonizes opponents in debate by associating them with evil, and almost always derails the discussion. People naturally resent being associated with Nazism, and are usually angered. In this way, playing the Hitler Card can be an effective distraction in a debate, causing the opponent to lose track of the argument. However, when people become convinced by guilt by association arguments that their political opponents are not just mistaken, but are as evil as Nazis, reasoned debate can give way to violence. So, playing the Hitler Card is more than just a dirty trick in debate, it is often “fighting words”.

The difference is of course the the American eugenicists really did want to sterilize people they considered inferior to themselves...and Obama has public health advisors who want to do that right now!
