Congressman blames Bush for Chicago's Olympics defeat (Rep. Bobby Rush D-IL)
The Hill ^ | October 4, 2009 | Michael O'Brien

EXCERPT

"I believe that [Friday]'s action is just the latest example of the cultural breach that still exists between the United States and several leaders of the global community of nations," Rush said in a statement Friday which was not received by The Hill until Sunday.

"[Friday}'s vote by the IOC members reflects the tattered relationships that remain after eight years of the catastrophic reign of the Bush administration," Rush continued. "It will obviously take some time for the Obama administration to continue its important work to repair that breach."

The first step toward achieving success is correctly diagnosing the cause for failure. They don’t have a clue, nor are they interested in getting one.

Bobby Rush, deputy defense minister of the Illinois Black Panther party, reads a statement June 4, 1969, during a news conference following an early morning raid on the Chicago Panther headquarters by FBI agents, who arrested eight persons. Rush called the raid ". ..a trick ..to attack the party." At left, Cha Cha Jimienez, chairman of the Young Lord, a Chicago-area Puerto Rican group. (AP Photo/EK.)

Yes of course! No matter what, it is all Bush’s Fault (read: we can’t do anything right so blame it all on the predecessor). Traditional liberal paradises like detroit and chicago breed situations like the killing of that honor student — daily.

The TOTUS-reading self-styled messiah thinks he can walk into the room and everyone will genuflect and begin singing hosannas.

He fills speeches full of “America Sucks (until ME came along) and he and his amazingly ugly and tacky wife toss out homilies full of “I want” and “my children should get” and “you will see Me” and it is Bush’s fault?

Send a child to do a grown-up’s job, don’t be surprised at the result.

America begged Bush to keep it safe, then boo-hood like little babies when he used tough measures to do so.

If America was hated and feared during Bush, it is hated and laughed at during the TOTUS-reading fuhrer.

Chicago is the murder capital of America because of Bush also (who cares that Bobby Rush, Richard Daley, & the other Dem cronies have been running Chicago for decades) ...(extreme sarcasm)

I predict that some Dems and Barry will continue using the “Bush’s fault” argument up to and during 2012.

The link in the footnote no longer works. I don’t know the details.

Watching all these people saying the same thing, the vision of a bunch of schoolchildren jumping up and down with their hands raised shouting “Me too!! Me too!! It’s my turn! Let Me! I wanna blame Bush too!” comes to mind.

Could be his legacy, “It was all Bush’s fault and racism.”

Its Obama who has spent the last 9 months demeaning the US at every opportunity. Its the Dems who spent the previous 8 years doing the same.

“Congressman blames Bush for Chicago’s Olympics defeat (Rep. Bobby Rush D-IL)”
Question: Which Bush? How far does the “blame Bush thing” go back?

“It is amazing how Zerobama has delivered on his campaign promise to “bring us together”.”

Yep. I’ve noticed the love and harmony. :)

I wonder how long the Democrats think they can ride that dead horse. He is beginning to smell, a lot.

THe couple of times I’ve heard Bobby Rush speak he’s sounded like a traumatic brain injury victim. I’m SERIES about that. How anyone can vote for the man defies comprehension.

Oh Brother! *eyeroll* The way I see it it is the direct opposite. They might’ve liked to complain about Bush to their own citizens but they respected him, not so much Obama and his ego!

Riddle me this Bobby, if they hated Bush so much, why was Chicago even still in the running while Bush was President?

The fact is, Bush set up the table for your boy, and your boy blew it.
