I've always liked and admired Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn.
In fact, I think she has so many of the ingredients we naturally associate with leadership – good communication skills, attractiveness, courage, convictions – that I have speculated more than once she could be presidential timber.
However, I've found a chink in the armor.
Apparently, she, too – like so many of her Republican colleagues in Congress – is deathly afraid of the Barack Obama eligibility issue.
Check out her recent appearance on CNN's "Larry King Live."
Do you believe Bachmann hasn't heard much from her constituents about the Obama eligibility issue?
All I can say to that is she must not be listening.

There was this little girl who dressed in her nice warm winter coat and went walking in the woods one frosty day...

S: Oh, I feel faint. And I’m so cold...
LG: If I pick you up, you promise you wont hurt me?
S: Of course I wont hurt you. Snakes dont hurt people. That’s just a lie going around about us. I’d be grateful. I’d ber your friend.
LG: OK. I’ll help you.
(She picked him up and put him in the pocket of her coat. She continued walking and the snake told her funny stories. She began to be lulled into liking him. He seemed such a dear funny snake.)
LG: How are you felling? Are you getting warm now?
S: Oh, I’m feeling a little better. But I would feel a bit warmer if i was near your warm body. Please move me closer to your heart. Under your coat would be nicer. You know I wont hurt you.
(The little girl placed the snake under her coat by her chest and went on walking. Shortly she felt a sharp bite and blinding pain. She fell on the ground and as she closed her eyes near death)
LG: Why did you do that? I trusted you. You were my friend.
S: Silly little girl. I’m not your friend. You should never have trusted me. I’m a snake. Snakes always hurt people. Always have. Always will.

Neither party wants to touch the Birth Certificate issue because they have too much invested in the election / popular opinion manipulation process to acknowledge that the Constitution is superior to it.
True it will no be solved in the short term but if he iws not legit then all he has done should be overturned after. The issue should still be pursued.

What is not so reasonable is that more US Senators and Congressmen from GOP-lock districts have not engaged on the issue.

Poor quality Republican primary voters produce poor quality nominees, which make terrible officeholders. It’s a cycle.

4. They want the issue to be decided in a court and choose not to politicize it.
5. They have enough battles to fight that they believe they can win or at least effect the outcome to spend time on the BC issue.
6. They have no more information than any of us here on these threads and, with nothing more than suspicion to drive them, leave the issue to someone who can do more.
7. They believe that leaving obama in office as he is is better than the "crisis" that might result from winning the eligibility issue and dealing with whatever outcome would result.
8. They are waiting to play the eligibility card when the time is right for them.
9. They believe obama is eligible, was born in the US and is a NBC regardless of his father's nationality or they believe Obama Sr. isn't really obama's bio-dad but his bio-dad is an American citizen.
You are absolutely right on in your post 37. WHO the hell wants to risk their lives on the battlefield for a FRAUD who has no legal authority to put them there. In addition to that, this tyrannical traitor is actually undermining the Military. Time I tell ya, it’s time. There are what? Oh about 100 million armed people in the United States. You want answers - GO FOR THEM. Even the Supreme Court should not be exempt from DEMANDS!! This IS the most important issue of all because everything else is subject to it!! That is exactly right. Personally I believe that there has to be outside, as in other country(ies) influence in this matter. The thing that STINKS the most to me is the Supreme Court. They have ONE Mandate and One only - to UPHOLD the Constitution of the United States. They are failing miserably and I it stinks. It deserves an answer and when a Military man cannot get an answer from a Federal Judge the Supremes should IMMEDIATELY take it up. There is something very sinister going on here and it is eventually going to HAVE to be taken up by THE PEOPLE together with their Military. It must be done before this army of scumbags completely guts the Military and forms IT’S own civilian army of armed thugs. Timing IS of utmost importance. CO
