Obama loosens missile technology controls to China

President Obama recently shifted authority for approving sales to China of missile and space technology from the White House to the Commerce Department -- a move critics say will loosen export controls and potentially benefit Chinese missile development.

"It's as though Commerce's mishandling of missile-tech transfers to China in the 1990s never happened," said Mr. Sokolski, a former Pentagon proliferation specialist. "But it did. As a result, we are now facing much more accurate, reliable missiles from China."

Mr. Sokolski said he expects the U.S. government under the new policy to again boost Chinese military modernization through "whatever renewed 'benign' missile technology" is approved.

"It was foolish for us to do this in the 1990s and is even more dangerous for us to do now," he said.

I think it is a vital part of Zero’s bold surrender policy.

That is a beautiful turn of phrase. Well done!

Unfortunately, a lot of today's "proliferation" simply comes from the fact that the majority of the folks that know how to build this stuff are no longer Americans.

Just take a stroll through any University engineering department.

The Chinese pump out over 500,000 scientists and engineers a year, whereas the U.S. pumps out 500,000 native-born lawyers, psychologists, and journalism majors.

NO, it bring down America.

In every way. Gotta make it something he can understand.

A screwed up Kenya. Or a backwards Indonesia.

Whatever it is, it boils down to getting rid of the whitemans successes. Thats why the entire west is under a vicious rape and assault via the worlds most powerful nation.

How’s that “free trade” thing working out?

We’re losing, you say?

Wake up people. This isn’t just about Obama.

We’re for sale. All of us. Goods for the “free trade” turncoats, who sell our nation - and would sell their own mother for a buck.

It’s part and parcel of the leveling process necessary to blend us all into that utopian One World/New World Order the left has been lusting for for over 100 years — and about which outfits like the Birch Society have been TRYING to warn us for over 50.

Thanks to the government schools, Americans are such SLOW LEARNERS.

The truly scary part is that Obama just side-stepped the 1999 Defense Authorization Act. You know - THE LAW.

Why not just have them come over here and reprogram our missiles to return to base if fired??

I am more of the opinion this asshat is going to get us all killed some day than I was before.

Ohhhh — THAT’S the “transparency” he was talking about. Those nettlesome little “laws” are so transparent, he can walk right through them when he feels like it.

"why are Chinese products such crap?"

Not all products "Made in China" are crap, but I would agree that a lot of them are.

Many of the "crap" products that are Made In China are outsourced manufacturing of non-Chinese companies (in many cases, American). The Brand ultimately bears the responsibility for quality control issues. The Brand is happy to sell you crap if you are willing to pay for it.

“A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely. His sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.” Cicero, speech to the Roman Senate

If the Chinese engineers were actually worth the paper their degrees are printed on, they wouldn’t need to constantly reverse engineer and copy American technology. Bottom line.

0bama and his thugs have brought in a steam shovel to dig us into bankruptcy with his healthscare program.

As Sarah said: "first you have to quit digging the hole".

Bottom Line: It's always faster and cheaper to steal someone else's successful creation/product, not matter how smart or capable the thief is.

After Clinton sold critical missile guidance technology to China for campaign money, now Bozo is giving them what little Clinton didn't sell.

And all the while Bozo is planning to cut our own missile arsenal, not just to the bone, but to way below the bone. All of which could possibly reduce the risk to China sufficiently for the Chinese communists, (remember, they're still doctrinaire COMMUNISTS) to risk launching a nuclear first strike that could possibly overwhelm our very limited missile defenses and take out whatever few nuclear missiles Bozo hasn't dismantled before then.

No matter what China or Russia decide to do in the next few years, as long as Bozo is in office we're in danger of a world of hurt coming from almost any point on the globe where America and Americans are hated.
