There is no “house of Persia”. Not even “lineage of muhhHamhead” if by that you mean Shia Islam.
Shia Islam was originally brought to Iran by Bedouin Arabs, and later forcefully & brutally imposed by a Turkic Dynasty on the population in Iran, circa 16 Century.
It had popular support in the Old Iranian Generation (around 1979), who brought back Khomeini through the Islamic (Iranian) Revolution. Many of whom, promptly & thereafter escaped to the U.S. and the E.U. - these people still support their Khomeini-Islamic fantasies from afar.
For mainstream Iranians, your mentioned “unfriendliness” is not so much “religious” or “racial”. It is Historical.
Naturally, it is up to the House of Saud regarding “the twin cities of hell”. I don’t think many younger Iranians now (approx. 70% are under or around the age of 30, in Iran) would care to visit A city in hell Again, let alone, “two cities”.

Enjoyed your PIF site but while your characterization of Islam appears intended to state there is no “moderate” Islam, the Sunnis are our Catholic equivalents (so to speak) while the Shia are our Protestants. Both have their more fiery denominations, with the Sunni Wahabis and Salafists among the worst hardliners.
However, Islamic sharia law - regardless of sect or denomination - as applied by strict Koranic and Mohammadan rules is equally ruthless and backward (which is probably what you meant)
