US condemns suicide bombing attack on Iran's Revolutionary Guards

No, this is not satire from The Onion. If only it were, we could laugh instead of cry.

Laura Rozen reports in Politico:

The U.S. has condemned a suicide attack that killed five Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps members today.

Five commanders of Iran's Revolutionary Guards were killed in suicide attacks in Iran's southeastern Sistan-Baluchistan province bordering Pakistan, according to reports.

The Baluch group Jundullah claimed responsibility for the attack, that killed some 30 people.

Iranian authorities have accused the group of receiving funding from foreign countries including the United States. The US has denied supporting Jundullah.

"We condemn this act of terrorism and mourn the loss of innocent lives," State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said. "Reports of alleged U.S. involvement are completely false."

Richard Baehr notes that it took days for the Obama administration to condemn the brutalization of democracy demonstrators in Iran, but that condemnation of attacks on the brutalizers was nearly immediate.

Ed Lasky asks:

Did the US condemn Iranians' role in the Khobar Towers bombing; the support given to Hezbollah that led to the massacre of hundreds of American and French soldiers-- and the continuing killing of Lebanese and Israelis, the lies and broken agreements that have followed the building of its nuclear weapons program?

So whose side is Obama on?

So whose side is Obama on?

We've known the answer to that question for some time.

I must have missed where Obama condemns the suicide attacks on our troops.

Oh golly! Obama mourns the death of Revolutionary Guard Commanders, but shrugs off the deaths of US Troops or Iranian anti-regime protesters.

We really HAVE entered the "Bizarro World" - up is down, wrong is right, enemies are allies, and allies are enemies.
It's just bloody strange.

Well I sure as hell like the idea of killing iranian national guard members.
In fact we should assist them all along their way to hell.

I was thinking the same thing. The Zero always seems to be siding with the wrong team. He picks dictators, communists and terrorist states as allies but craps on our friends.

IRGC guys are the same ilk that was helping Iraqi insurgents build and plant Iranian IED’s in Iraq that killed hundreds of US troops.

The IRGC leaders we captured in the act in northern Iraq, were quietly released by obama to improve dialogue with Iran

Don’t you see, dictators ALWAYS STICK TOGETHER ! ! ! When people start chanting “GUILLOTINE ! !”, the ruling elites become extremely unified. They often start A WAR to keep the peons, surfs, slaves, and subjects otherwise occupied.

Yeah...Like the Jive talkin P*ssy we have for a President would ever have the balls to give orders to assasinate a lone border guard, mush less than a group of senior IRGC commanders. The crazy, paranoid, stupid thugs that are running Iran now, are just lashing out at al,l the usual suspects, without a shred of proof.....Obama...ordering an attack on Iran...HAH!...He doesn’t have the balls.

I'm not mourning. Who's mourning? The fascists in the State Dept.? Not surprising.

Dear Iran,

We are saddened about the loss of commanders in your Revolutionary Guard by way of a homicide bomber, he must have made a wrong turn at Tel Aviv. We find that the loss of life no matter the circumstances is unjustifiable, even though they probably deserved it.

Our letter of condolence is being delivered by our consulate to your UN offices, if he can stop laughing.

Have a nice day..

What does the Hussein Administration hope to gain by condemning the attack? Iran’s favour!?

What a bunch of delusional fools we have in the White House.
