Having been shunned by the daytime talk queen before last year's elections, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has decided to finally go on "Oprah" in November.
As announced moments ago at Oprah.com:
In a world exclusive, Oprah Winfrey will interview former Alaska governor Sarah Palin for an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show to air Monday, November 16, 2009. Winfrey and Palin will meet for the very first time on the episode, which will mark Palins first interview to discuss her upcoming book, Going Rogue: An American Life and her first-ever appearance on the Oprah show.
Unfortunately, judging by some of the comments being left at her website, Oprah's fans are not pleased:

It has always been safe to "enjoy" Negroes on TV in your own living room.
*wonder if Michele Bachmann would go on*
Michele sided up on stage with an anti war, anti Israel,
Pro legal marajuana loon
Frankly, anyone who watches that show, home or in studio, is a mindless idiot. Which fits the description of about 2/3 of American women, the same group who make up the bulk of the Democrat voting bloc. A weak-minded group of mush-head fools.
I’d rather see her give Rush or Greta the exclusive.
Dems just can’t stand a strong woman. LOL!
I read on C4P that Sarah will be going on many television shows to give interviews, that Oprah is not the only one. I bet she does Greta, Hannity, Rush, and a bunch of others after wards. Do I have a problem with her going on Oprah, no, even though I can’t stand the woman. But I do worry about the idiots in her audience, I am more concerned with them then Oprah. Sarah can handle Oprah
In light of those ignorant comments....
SARAH FOR PRESIDENT!!!
Dems would love Sarah if she had aborted her baby, is pro big government, wanted a single payer health care system, and is for Cap and trade. If she were a big lib, they would kiss her ass and build a statue in her honor in the town square
I’m glad Palin is going on Oprah. She needs to quit hiding in Facebook and get out there to make her case to the public in person. Since Palin is going on Oprah to promote her book, Oprah will probably give her a bunch of soft ball questions. I don’t expect the Oprah show will be a game changer for Palin.
You got that right.
The audience will be fine, mostly Sarah supporters. Oprah is very careful about screening things like that. That’s why it was highly suspect that a “heckler” made it inside when she did the Bush interview before the 2000 election. They were all over everyone who was allowed into the studio.
“Some of Oprahs viewers are libs, but I dont think most are.”
Most people on Free Republic make their comments in a serious fashion.
You also need to get serious!
Fox Business Channel would help also. Politically diverse audience that would accept her message if heard unfiltered.
Those who don’t want Sarah running for President only want her to be in a little circle.
They don’t want her out speaking to all of America, getting her message out.
Hmmmm.....into the lion’s den. I hear the booing audience already. This could reflect very badly on Oprah. Not sure if I want Sarah doing this, but since she is....HEAD HIGH, SARAH, show them what CLASS is!!
Bush appeared on Oprah during the 2000 election. Many Oprah fans do not listen to talk radio or watch Fox News. But they do represent a rich source of votes that conservatives can’t ignore.
Don’t most of Oprah’s fans live in the Chicago area. I can’t imagine Sarah supporters living in Chicago. I had read on C4P that Oprah stacks her audience with people who are against the guest, so that Oprah ends up looking good and basically the audience does the dirty work for her. I hope she doesn’t stack the deck against her. It would suck for her being interviewed with a bunch of idiots booing her. I’m not worried about the interview at all. This isn’t gonna be an interrogation, it will be an interview promoting her book, talking about the campaign, her life, her future plans. If this were during the campaign, different story, she has to worry about not saying this and not saying that, but this is different, she just needs to go out there and be herself.
Oprah had Mike Tyson on a few days ago. He will have had a warmer reception that Palin. Rigatdamndiculous.
