Is Bill O'Reilly the new moderate voice of America's right?
That would seem to be the case after Bill O' took on Rush Limbaugh, the fire-eating grand poobah of everything right-wing.
O'Reilly took exception to Limbaugh's claim that President Obama was trying to deliberately destroy the economy.
In an interview with Fox News, Limbaugh said Obama represented the most "radical leadership" in the history of the country, and that the economy was "under siege" by Obama.
Limbaugh also said Obama had "not done one thing to revitalize the economy."
In response, Bill O' asked the logical question but one that no right-winger in their right mind would have the temerity to ask, given the power of Limbaugh. "Why would President Obama purposely destroy the economy?" O'Reilly asked. "When that would damage him and never get him re-elected." Touche. But it took O'Reilly to say it.
This is an interesting development. With the exception of Limbaugh, there is no more-popular figure in right-wing circles than O'Reilly.
His ratings have soared to record levels at Fox. Now, he may be ready to take on the big Kahuna, the palladin of right-wing politics, the sultan of swatting down liberals, the king of talk, Rush Limbaugh. Watch this space. There may be a new O'Reilly on the prowl.
BOR will lose.
Reason #5,081 why anyone with a brain will refuse to listen to O'Reilly's horsesh!t beliefs.
Without conservatives, his entire career would not be possible.
However, he his NO courage, EVER, to take on any issue where he is not assured of majority support, prior to the coward ever taking a stand.
He piles on easy targets.
He repeats liberal talking points, where he thinks conservatives are not in the majority or do not hold a strong hand.
Rush ties half his brain behind his back. . .BOR has no brain.
Rush could tie 98% of his brain behind his back and still beat BOR without raising a sweat.
BOR needs to retire with a bang and Rush is the guy that can do it.No contest.
They gotta be kidding.
Not on his best day. He tried it on his short lived radio program, lost his butt to Rush. Nuff said.
>> This guy knows nothing about conservatives... <<<
Amen!
BOR is a mole,
and any comparison to ElRushbo is an Insult to Conservatives..!!
Let us not forget that Rush Limbaugh knocked Bill O off the radio last year.
Methinks Mr. O’ Reilly has an axe to grind.
pshhhh!
Compared to Rush, O'Reilly is a gnat.
Hey Bill, ask Rush to his face and ask him why he believes this?
I have not idea why I put a ? at the end of an imperative.
BOR-—What a stinking pantload of humanity!
Hannity should have Rush gueat host his TV show and we will see the ratings compared to O’
Your first statement doesn't lead to the second, especially when it comes to the political left.
If you destroy the economy, you can still get re-elected by using a compliant media to put the blame on someone else (such as George Bush or Wall Street), and then promise the voters relief from the misery that you caused.
“With the exception of Limbaugh, there is no more-popular figure in right-wing circles than O’Reilly.”
When I think of right-wing circles, I don’t think Bill O’Reilly.
If O’Reilly takes exception to what Rush had to say, what must he think of Glenn Beck’s ideas on Cloward and Piven and collapsing the system. I think that Rush and Glenn are both on target and O’Reilly is the one with blinders on. He couldn’t see Obama for what he was before the election and with everything we know now, he still can’t see it.
Yes, Rush is entertaining. Nothing about BOR is entertaining...'cept maybe his phone-sex exposure.
