Call Lloyd Doggett for your House call against the Healthcare bill.

Dear Doggett constituents,

A few days ago, Congresswoman Michelle Bachman (R-M) asked that “the people” show up (for an emergency “House Call”) in Washington D.C. on Thursday 11/5/09. There will be a press conference and then the people should go see their Congressman eye to eye about the Healthcare bill that will be voted on either Friday or Saturday.

Yesterday 11/4/09 I spent an hour with Congressman Doggett's Staff Assistant Lee Ann. Please call his Austin office in the next 2 days 512-916-5921.

If you agree with the things I said you could just take a minute and say, “Tell Lee Ann - I agree with what Dottie said” & I'm sure they will ask your name & address.

Here are some of the things I told Lee Ann and she took pages of notes. I carried in H.R. 3200 which is 1019 pages and very heavy. She has not read it but says Doggett has read the bill.

1. Socialised medicine is un-Constitutional in the 1st place.

2. It is a nightmare for control of what we the people eat, drink, drive and where we work and live.

3. You can't form 52 new gov. organizations and insure 20 million illegal aliens and expect it to be cheaper.

4. If it is single payer why do they need real time access to my bank account? (She sidetracked me and I didn't get an answer) 5. Gov. are formed to protect liberty.

6. She said more people wanted the HC bill to pass. I said that I had never seen people come out for Tea parties & Townhall's before.

7. Tea party & Townhall people very upset about taxing, spending and fearful of the HC bill.

8. The old are willing to sit back when the gov. takes their liberty but when stealing from the kids and grandkids, they will get out to Tea Parties.

9. It is un-Constitutional

10. Gov. HC wont fix the problem, there are ways… give Dr's tax breaks for giving a day to the poor, it would be huge fix. Buy ins. across state lines, get gov. mandates out of the Insurance co. I take care of my car gas, oil, tires and insurance is for big collision.

11. Leave me my tax money and I will buy it myself.

12. Those truly needing charity will get it from the American people but when it is taken April 15 and given, that is not charity, that is stealing.

13. The Fair Tax is better to get tax money collected, I know Congressman Doggett doesn't like it but it would be a good solution.

14. No money for ACORN and I know he voted to take that $ away but that expired on Halloween so take it away again and all 200 sister organizations. In fact stop all spending to non-profits. If the people want to give their money that org. will survive, if not it won't.

15. No foreign aid, especially to the Taliban. You can't pay someone to change their religion.

16. The dollar will fail when you print 4 TRILLION dollars that are not backed with gold, silver or labor.

17. It is un-Constitutional

18. Quit spending. Return to the 18 things you are allowed to do and the rest goes to the States. I would rather be pounding on my State Rep's desk and I'm sure Lee Ann would have rathered that too.

19. Cut taxes.

20. Pay attention to the press conference tomorrow in D.C. Each person represents thousands. (Boy, I hope that is pretty big)

21. If Dems say “stay out of their bedrooms”, I want you to stay out of my bathroom (1.5 flush toilet) and my laundry room (they want to mandate only front loading washing machines.) and most all my life.

22. It is un-Constitutional

23. Get rid of CZARS. It is un-Constitutional Why would he not protect his power in the federal gov? Because I want him holding that place and I want to replace him with someone else but he should want to keep his power from unelected advisors.

24. When you tax 65% then the person is a slave not a free person.

As long as Lloyd Doggett is for ‘reproduction rights’ and anti-war, the lefties in Travis county will vote for him.

Dogget could be driven down MOPAC in a white bronco, driven by Al Cowens, chased by APD for murder and the lefties would STILL vote for him.

I’m hoping you will see this before the healthcare vote.

Please call Doggett’s office if you can’t go to DC. They will vote on it this Friday or Saturday.

Also please pass this around and let’s flood his office.

They say that the American people really do want this take over of our liberty and just can’t understand why we don’t want it.

Maybe not—at least not as much as we are accustomed to. I’m hearing lots of folks here around Austin who are waking up and seeing the light. Let’s don’t be defeatist—let’s be active! Make those phone calls!

Waste of time trying to twist Dog Dogget’s arm.

Wasn’t it Doggett who said he didn’t care what the people wanted but that he was voting for the bill no matter what?

You are so right, and many in Austin aren’t even Texans anyway. People in Austin are more like New Yorkers than Texans.

Wasn’t it Doggett who said he didn’t care what the people wanted but that he was voting for the bill no matter what

yes he said that right in front of me

the quote exactly is, "I was voted to use my best judgement and just because a few angry people come out (to the Randalls Townhall, view at youtube) I'm not going to change my vote." I was 2 feet away from him and he was facing me.

But he is the only US representative I have.

He is my rep. whether I voted for him or not.

I am COMPELLED to phone him when I see the direction turning from the Constitution. I hope that I'm one of many and he at least hears our voices whether he does it or not.

I think it would be great to use the Feedom of info Act and get the numbers of how the calls went.

If it is 80-20 that makes me think we can actually vote him out. because why would the libs call him? they know he will vote for it!

‘People in Austin are more like New Yorkers than Texans.’

LOL...I am from NY and moved to Austin and specifically Texas to get away from the liberal nonsense...

Thank God the rest of Texas is conservative..
