Stinkin C-SPAN feed keeps cutting out. Just like government-run health care will.

Exactly.

Sorry, no, it’s a vote to give one last chance to change Obamacare to include Republican changes

Do you think it is “principled” to call an amendment that allows for the murder of certain individual persons “pro-life”? Especially if you claim to lead the “pro-life movement,” and have taken billions of dollars for the purpose of ending abortion?

Well, I flipped it back over just in time to hear Hoyer making an ass out of himself. I swear, I had to turn it back to college football before my blood pressure went through the roof. Just wanted to reach in the TV set and slap the SOB.

Thank you so much. I hate to be suckerpunched with this abortion amendment. Win a skirmish, lose the war is not a good tactic.

Even if this were to fail tonight (which it won’t), the dems will continue to twist arms and bring it back up in a week or two. All depends on the senate and the reconcilliation between the house and senate.

I believe that Obamacare will now pass. It is evident our representatives don’t care what our opinions are. It was very clear all summer/fall and through the elections last week how the vast majority feel about this monstrosity. I think the dems are willing to sacrifice as many seats as it takes to get this through. And Obama is willing to be a one term president for it.

It was something related to the grounds for the Republican motion to recommit. I don’t know what it is, but it’s likely something the Republicans wanted to get on record to embarrass the Dems, so they can say in a campaign commercial: “The Democrats even voted against...[whatever it is].”

Maybe it’s valuable politically, because the Dems freaked.

I see now. They surprised them with a motion to recommit WITH INSTRUCTIONS. I wasn’t paying attention for a moment and didn’t know what was going on, just suddenly people are shouting.

Until Christians stop playing games and refuse to compromise, the destruction of our country will continue on its course to destruction.

There goes the Motion to Recommit down to defeat.

BOHICA

Get busy working over your Senators.

We need to hold all the GOP and pick off some vulnerable Dems.

I am beginning to think that to be principled you must first oppose EternalVigilance.
