Truthfully Sarah, there are times you should be advised to keep your mouth shut. The last coupld of days you have sounded less than Presidential.

She’s not currently running for President, and maybe she doesn’t want to. Who knows?

It’s a free country. As far as I’m concerned she can say what she likes. She’s been gagged too much already.

I think the less she says about her children, the better. The Left has been vicious to them and there’s a point where anything said simply fans their flames.

She’d be smarter to say “I’d rather that we focus on what’s wrong with our country instead of having reporters making my children an issue.”

Sarah Palin needs to put a clamp on her mouth regarding her family and home life.

I don't want to hear it anymore.

Pssssst Sarah, next time don’t let your teenage daughter be alone with a boy. As a rule nature will take its course...

Barbara Walters asked her the question. This is one time you should shoot the messenger.

What do you expect Sarah to do. Say ‘no comment’.

Let Sarah be Sarah . . I get the impression that she happy for the first time since she was thrust into the limelight by John McCain.

I no longer have any sympathy for her when it comes to attacks on her family. She brings it up, so it's fair game.

I don't think she will run for president. She seems to be running to be the next Oprah, at which she could be extraordinary. (Or the anti-Oprah.) President? I never saw her as presidential, though I do like her, and now, I think she's such damaged goods that she has no future in politics.

Considering the power Oprah has, what one could call "soft" power, or hard to quantify power, taking an elective office would be a step down for Palin. As the host of a talk show, considering our current media-saturated world, she could be a whole new thing, a kind we've never seen before.

F&cq the left! I don't give a tinker's damn what they say about anything. They are nothing but vicious, evil b@st@rds. If they have to, they will invent stories to trash Palin or anyone else who won't kowtow to their perverted, twisted ideology.

The vast majority of parents don’t know that or when their children become sexually active.

Why should Saraah Palin be any different? Sounds like more double standard stuff from the left.

Primarily right now Palin wants to sell as many books as possible.

The best method of doing so in modern America says more about the sorry state of affairs in the country than it does about Palin.

Later, when Palin is actively running for President, all this stuff will be old news and she can use the high number of her book sales to help propel her candidacy.

As a P.S. to the above, I was wrong to say she brought it up. But the interviews for the book are a whole new start, and she should just say "I'm not talking about my family."

Paul Newman, among others, is an example of a star who would do interviews but certain topics were off limits. If Barbara Walters or anyone else asks Palin about her family, Palin would have full support of everyone if she said that topic is off limits.

If she is trying to let people in on her personal life as a way of getting them to like her for a talk show hosting gig in the future, I guess that's fine. Women are the audience for these shows, and many of them want to hear all that stuff. If she wants to be taken seriously as a politician, though, I think it's foolish of her to keep reminding people of the soap opera aspects of her life.

Spoken like a true believer in the msm. The media says jump and some people ask how high.

Really? Did Paul Newman also have the guy who knocked up his daughter touring the country talking trash about his family?

I do not see Sarah hunting for your sympathy. Just plain amazes me to observe the Jon Stewart media attempted to pick every ounce of flesh off her bones and liberals politicos attempted to financially destroy her. Then I get to read conservatives writing out the final sentence upon her. NO wonder George W. Bush had to qualify a new brand of conservatism ... with that word compassionate.

Looking at the support she has from a large segment of the conservative base, it is hard to imagine that she is not very interested to run for President.

In my opinion, if she does not get her acts together and work very hard on enhancing her communications skills, the 2012 primaries debates with other Republicans contenders will finish her off, and even many of her supporters will realize that she is not Presidential material. However in the next two years, she may be able to greatly enhance her communication skills, greatly enhance her damaged picture outside the conservative base, and then she may have a good chance of winning the primaries and the elections.

Yes, that's right. I observe the facts of the matter and draw my own conclusion instead of following the pack, and that somehow means I "believe in the msm".

Did it ever occur to you that you can disagree with someone's conclusions, and that doesn't mean they've fallen under the spell of the msm?

Paul Newman sued the newspapers that dug into his son's drug-related death.
