Darwinizing Everything

--snip--

The Darwinians, who took over biology in the 19th century, are still busily engaged in mythmaking, comforting the feebleminded who accept their explanations as wisdom, denouncing the heretics who call their bluff. They wear S on their chests: Science, the equivalent of Superman in intellectual circles. They are phonies. Bring out the kryptonite of critical analysis. It scares them to death, even though they never had special powers to begin with...

They LOVE that word “evolution”. They use it in advertisements and stories and anywhere they can roll it off their tongues.

The fact is, God doesn’t need evolution because he sees the final version of the product before He ever makes the first one. The concept of making incremental changes over the years is ridiculous. ‘’

Gottlieb Daimler’s first car was crude in 1886, because he couldn’t see into the future and look at a glittering McLaren Mercedes with hundreds of horsepower.

Do either of you think you will change the other’s mind?

Of course not.

Ummm are you aware that most doctors no longer recite the Hippocatic Oath? Esp. that part about ‘first do no harm...’ seems to conflict with their practice of over-prescribing meds and doing ‘exploratory’ surgery. Only for those who can afford the very ‘best’ modern medicine has to offer though.

Well please tell us some of the details to back up your claims. And while you’re at it please inform us, regarding your law school, did they teach you that separation of church and state is part of the U.S. Constitution?

Please tell me you're not pushing the idea that only lawyers can have an opinion about the law or legal arguments.

Obviously not seeing as how I’m not a lawyer and I have posted my opinion. What you are probably missing from the point I’m making is simple really.

Every revered institution is slowly and methodically being corrupted. Political correctness has hurt these once revered reputations, critical thinking is being thrown by the wayside along with common sense. The powers-that-be would like us to simply accept their ‘new and improved solutions’ at face-value b/c they-say-so.

You can’t mix truth with lies and get something beneficial. Would you be able to enjoy momma’s thanksgiving meal if you found that her new age beliefs had altered her time-tested recipes to now include a little arsenic and/or E. Coli?

Off your meds?

I guess that’s what happens when you reject doctors.

Too bad. You could get some help for that paranoia.

They do.
E, coli is on everything. It's just the bad strains (to humans) that cause disease. E.coli live in your gut. A percentage of your feces is bacteria.

If you have potatoes at Thanksgiving, you are ingesting some arsenic. They naturally have a little arsenic in them.

I've watched claims that ID is "empirically verified" made, and questions about how something with no discernible empirical metrics can be measured answered with off topic philosophical meanderings and outright personal attacks because I asked the question.

There's no "moral high ground" in this debate.

I must admit I regret anytime those promoting or defending ID resort to using the same tactics and mis-use of logic as is found in most all of the evolution literature.

Claiming macro-evolution as proven is quite a stretch. Design for ID can only be inferred as there is no test for empirical evidence. Evolution has the same problems.

There, fixed it for you.

Yes, but it is not an ingedient to be sought after in a recipe. By the same token you are not a FR poster I care to discuss/debate as you are always splitting hairs but somehow never quite seeing the forest for the trees.

I'm sure that'll make it all OK. We'll just let you edit everything and all will be right with the World.

Rest assured that any marks you leave will given all the consideration they're due.

“Looks like the psychos are running the asylum again...”

...or still?

I can almost believe that these threads are planted by DU to divide conservative thinkers. The same rhetoric, sometimes, like in this thread, shows up with animosity.

Are we not all concerned more with other problems?

We Christians should evangelize with compassion. Declare the Bible as the revelation of God’s word as their faith and rely on their witness, testimony.

Creationist who may not be Christians should also be polite in the presentation of their theory.

The scientist should put together theories with the facts available and own up that theory is theory, not scientifically proven fact. Have it taught as “theory” and continue to research their theory until they can seriously present it as “fact” when they have facts that cannot be challenged.

Both camps have a forum in this world. God allows us to choose Him or not.

Of course, then, we have other camps weighing in with “God created evolution” and I guess they have their say too.

The person posting the MOST CAP LOCK DIALOG AND EXPLANATION POINTS!!!! does not win the respect of those who oppose their viewpoint. At least not mine. I mean, have you ever seen an evolutionist or a creationist converted in one of these threads?

Actually, you're talking to a former evolutionist who was converted to a creationist in threads just like these. And it wasn't the namby pamby Christians who won my respect. It was the Christians who got in the fight and called a spade a spade.

Your assumptions are patently false. You go right ahead and use your approach if you want to. I won't criticize you and you don't try to tell me or anyone else how we should respond to these evos.
