They are reshipping mine, coming on Tuesday from UPS or FedEx(Havent gotten that info yet) I have a feeling mine was stolen. It froze in Las Vegas, isn’t Sarah going to be at some Reno, NV book signing. Probably someone saw it was a book inside the package, and took it to get it signed then resell it on Ebay(Its going for big bucks there) I have ordered from amazon.com many times, sometimes it would come USPS, never had any issue, but this book doesnt show up
Just try copying an entire book at the libary and see how far you get.
Harper Collins needs to sue AP’s butt from here to the next century.
LEVI is 19 years old and he is awed by the attention given to him. He believed the users that have been lying to him. VERY IMPORTANT LESSON indeed.
Hopefully he will get real. He is the father of Bristol’s son and Sarah’s grandchild. He isn’t the first to be used as a pawn for attacking and doing dirty work for them; not realizing how used he is being. Hollywood’s bright lights have sucked the good sense out of many that live there; especially those that have acting aspirations, or singing, or whatever he said. He does not have a direction ... just responded to the hype offered. MO
“The AP staff then ripped the book from its spine and set about scanning the book so that twelve reporters could share the copy and begin fact checking it.”
I don’t recall these eager beavers expending this much energy fact checking Obama or Gore. AP is an arm of the White House.
SB, my copy arrived from Amazon yesterday afternoon, so yours should be on the way, albeit very late.
Bub, you need to get over it! She has a classic western Middle America accent just like most of us, and just because she does not talk like William F. Buckley (as you undoubtedly prefer) does not mean that she will lose if she chooses to run.
So, you can take your Tom Rogers and head on out to Harvard if you wish.
Well, mine was supposed to come yesterday, it still says “in transit” from Las Vegas, hasn’t moved so something is not right. Either way I am getting another copy, already got things sorted out through amazon.com. I bet someone jacked it, saw it was a book(considering her book was all shipped on the same day) and someone figured they could get some cash out of it. I will never have anything delivered usps again. They are unreliable
I’m sorry, but any dark horse candidate from a very liberal state needs to be building their own resume NOW, not trying to get pulled along in the shadow of a candidate that already electrifies crowds. Whether or not Sarah Palin is deemed to be the best candidate in 2012, she is already showing that she at least has the ability to ignite the crowd - including both the base and independents (when they actually listen to her).
And in terms of her speech patterns, I would prefer a plain spoken person who fully believes what they say over an ultra-polished anyone.
It is time to replace the press.
It can be done.
I don’t understand how the claim that photocopying an entire book is “fair use,” despite the fact that both this author and the AP says that it is true.
“Fair Use” is only copying a small portion of a book, not the whole dang thing.
Why don't we let Sarah's publisher be the test case?
I would contribute to the legal expenses.
And God knows Sarah could use the extra publicity!

She sounds a lot smarter than the Community Organizer trying to sound Presidential.
already have.
and in the spirit of Christmas... i am going to send, via Amazon, a copy as a Christmas present to all the liberals i know.
:)
ok, i didn’t say they were ‘friends’... just that i knew their address.
Sarah (and we) are dealing with cockroaches and snakes. Never, NEVER trust any one of them.
Wow, and I thought you were more capable of finding someone to promote that no one had ever heard of.
“I dont recall these eager beavers expending this much energy fact checking Obama or Gore.”
That’s because there aren’t any facts to check. Just lies.
Harper Collins can sue AP for copyright infringement, and Runners World can sue Newsweek for copyright infringement!
Well if you can think of a better way to scan a book, and convert it into a PDF file, many of us would be interested.
Obviously, no one who reads and owns books could ever do that except in extreme cases, when there is no alternative, reasonable or otherwise. A good example is when a book is literally no longer available, and there are only a handful of copies left.
An instance of this is the publication and sale of a replica of the original edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica (1771) printed in a limited edition, and which I was smart enough to buy in 1979-1980. One original was disassembled, photographed and plates prepared to make identical copies.
I can think of a few other examples, but the possibilities should be obvious. Banned books, books which were all bought up and copies destroyed, etc. Yes, Dorothy, that happens. All the time.
You don't know any of the guys from the DNC Class of '05, do you?
