Much like the Jewish Sanhedrin did 20 centuries ago when they convened in the dark of night to decide the fate of Jesus Christ, the United States Senate is planning to convene this Saturday night to decide the fate of this once great Christian nation. Will they crucify our economy with their final decision?

If the current 2,000 page health bill ever passes, it will be the death of our nation.

I suppose that, even if this garbage does pass into law, some of the egregious, overreaching parts of the bill could be undone by future Congresses. More specifically, future GOP-led Congresses. But will those GOP lawmakers have the guts to make those kinds of changes with the hard Left in this country breathing down their necks and rioting in the streets? It will take a special kind of individual to stand tall in the face of that onslaught. But having a couple hundred of this type of person in Congress at the same time? Possible, but highly unlikely. It would have to be one of those rare occasions where everyone involved is exactly on the same page and has each other's back. I'm not sure the GOP as presently constituted has it in them.

From all reports I've been getting is that the Senators pretty much closed off all means for the people to communicate with them. Voice mail boxes all full. Fax lines all busy all the time. Email never gets anywhere in the first place.

The arrogance of this Congress is only a spark away from rebellion.

There's something I wish folks would think about: this political class are the ones in rebellion; against God, against the people, against the Natural Law, against the principles of our Declaration of Independence, against the stated purposes of our Constitution.

They're revolutionaries.

The question that remains is this: Will the sovereign, which in America is the people, under God, rise up and put down the rebellion or not?
