This is little comfort to the millions of white males in this country who are first to be laid-off, passed over or outright abused because of employers fears of ALL OTHERS (females, blacks and hispanics) who are “protected” under the Civil Rights Act.

BUMP what you said. Excellent post. The only way to get rid of an incompetent who is NOT a white male is to run an HR tab for three years, carefully documenting every screw up. Even then, you still get sued.

...and these types of examples are yet another reason I try to tell my younger male family members that that a tour of duty in uniform qualifying you as a veteran. In Massachusetts and many other states this trumps virtually all other preferences, much to the frustration of race baiters.

Here is my own personal experience “rant on”...I applied at XYZ corportation, and had to take a test. I scored a 96% on this test, which almost never happens. I was ecstatic. When I went to talk to the human resourses person ( a female ) she just looked down at her desk, and would not even look at me. She told me that my score was almost unheard of, and I should be hired on the spot. What she said next still haunts me to this day... “ I’m sorry sir, but you are the wrong sex and the wrong color. If you were a black female you would not even have to take the test. I am sorry, but we cannot hire you”. This person, like I said, did not even look up at me, but just stared at her desk. Equal opportunity my ass!!! (rant off)
