On March 31, 2004, a small convoy guarded by four American civilian contractors was ambushed at Fallujah, Iraq, and the guards were killed. The bodies of the four Blackwater security guards were burnt, hacked, and two of the mutilated bodies were hung for display on a bridge over the Euphrates river.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported that in ” a macabre and murderous town fete, locals cheered as one corpse was attached to a car tow rope and pulled triumphantly up and down the main road….”
The article noted that “In terms of its sheer bestial violence, the attack on the Blackwater operatives was unprecedented….”
The ambush, and desecration of the bodies were all videotaped by Islamic extremists, and subsequently disseminated world-wide as anti-American propaganda...

How are we to fight the broader war of Islamo-terrorism if we are so blind to see the restraints within our midst? It is the political correctness straight jacket of the Left (and their political dupes) that has infected this nation's ability to survive. It has caused the Twin Towers destruction and the Fort Hood massacre. These terrorists are being treated with kid gloves on the battlefield at the sacrifice of our fighting heroes. It has infused itself into the military culture like a cancer. Political correctness has allowed our precious heroes to fight with both hands tied behind their backs. Every human rights group in the world follows them around looking for the one bullet shot that looks like a war crime. Every action is weighed and scrutinized as we force our fighting heroes to measure their actions for possible war crimes prosecution. May God help us!
This political correctness is costing us more than the Fort Hood massacre. It is influencing the way we wage this war against Islamic terrorist who want to kill every American they can.
And every time Zer0 opens his mouth, the entire world is aghast at the dismal leadership we have placed in the position of Commander in Chief.
The special forces should now know what to do to avoid a prisoner squealing about a fat lip. At the expense of losing invaluable intelligence information, they will have to shoot them in the head.
We need to do a double flush. One for the Zer0prompter in Chief and another for the Democrats in both houses of Congress that have been thrust upon the American people.
The Seals pushed it to a court martial when they didn’t need to. Who knows, the captains mast might have ended up with an official clearance and an unofficial commendation from the captain “but don’t let anybody hear that I said this.”
I can’t imageine AHA being a submissive goody-goody and the marines just punching him for the heck of it. In my scenarion, AHA probably kicked up some kind of verbal and physical fight and the marines had to subdue him...
Don't hold your breath on that one. An Islamic nut job kills 14 at Fort Hood and he says don't jump to conclusions. I think it is obvious where he stands. Or bows.

Compared to what he did, certainly. His complaint is asinine, given that he killed four people, mutilated their dead bodies, and celebrated while their broken bodies were strung up. But....

In war, a breakdown in discipline can get Americans killed, right? I'm sure this is particularly true for special forces. The officer has to follow through. Discipline broke down, and the officers job is to deal with that.
It's not our officers who are acting despicably, it's Mr. Abed. He got socked in the kisser after killing four Americans. His behavior isn't what we Americans would call manly. It's sick. But given that he did file a complaint which suggests that US military discipline broke down among members of our elite forces, the officers have to look to it. I don't think this is a matter of political correctness,it's a matter of running a disciplined and effective military.

They could have received some sort of official rebuke instead, but that may have killed future prospects for promotion in elite units. They may also have felt that the principles at stake were worth taking a stand for. There decision reflects confidence in their fellow soldiers, that they will reach the right decision.

After seeing those pictures (wish I hadn’t), all I could think of was the effect they would have on the murdered man’s mother, wife, sister, entire family. I would never get over it. Having a loved one die in battle is bad enough, but that -——
That's certainly possible. Given the context of his complaint (a murderer who defiled the corpses of the dead is complaining about being punched,) he's probably a guy who likes to bait people. The seals were undoubtedly quite familiar with the atrocities he committed. He had a lot of ammo to work with if he was trying to get under someone’s skin.
I give up with people like you. I am quite certain you are a good person. War is an ugly thing at best. But if is undertaken putting certain constraints on the people we ask to fight it is a recipe for disaster. I will repeat this, a fat lip is nothing. We don’t cut people’s heads off on video tape!!! That is who we are dealing with.
You’re wrong!! This is more PC and it is getting our guys killed. A fat lip means the Seals handled this POS with kid gloves. Screw this, they should have shot him on the spot.
