Glenn Beck - he has one of the highest-rated shows on the top cable news network. He's had a number of bestselling books and he's called attention to some unsavory characters working in the Obama administration. Yet - he's somehow considered to be a risky business decision for the powers in charge at Fox News.
On CNN's Nov. 29 "Reliable Sources," host Howard Kurtz pointed out Glenn Beck accusing Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., of "hooking" for the so-called $300 million "Louisiana Purchase" provision of the health care bill.
"He's talking there about Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu, who did get a provision in order to get her support for breaking the filibuster on the health care bill - $300 million for Louisiana," Kurtz said. "He said she was ‘hooking,' basically called her a prostitute."

Bill Press is a douche bag for claiming Glen Beck is wrong to call a politician who takes $300 millions for a vote a whore. The only legitimate criticism would be that Glen Beck was unfair to working girls.

He only says things only meant to stop group members from reconsidering their assumptions i.e. I wonder if I should watch Fox News?
By providing rational outs, the groupthinkers remain unconflicted with consensus views of the group no matter how dangerous or harmful.
Bill Press is a top of the line charlatan. He lies with remarkable ease.

Press is concerned with Beck because he has a voice, while Barry and company have power and only honor the top right blank corner of our Constitution these days, and he betrays us globally and at home at will.

The way Press is acting you would think Beck had made a movie about assassinating the president or something.

NO ... she was called a “HIGH PRICE PROSTITUTE”, also “THE MOST EXPENSIVE HOOKER IN DC” and and a few others that I can’t remember the PRECISE QUOTES.
Press is just JEALOUS he didn’t come up with the line.
Considering what people did (not basically) call Bristol Palin, this is mild.

And the point is? He was right!
Yeah, Press’s most recent media project is described as a “talk-show/podcast,” which means it’s airing only on the web, and his audience is measured in the dozens. I also believe that Press lost his last “broadcast” talk show back in 2008. That was another low-rent affair; his syndicators tried to play up Press’s D.C. connections, but the show only aired in Akron, Ohio.
I’d say Mr. Press, who once fronted shows on CNN, is more than a tad jealous.
