LONDON - Swine flu is far less dangerous than originally feared, British officials said Thursday — about 100 times less lethal than the 1918 Spanish flu.

To determine how deadly the virus is, the British health department tracked all reported swine flu patients hospitalized between July and November. In a paper published online in the British journal, BMJ, experts estimated that out of every 100,000 infected people in Britain, about 26 died.

No way.

You mean there is neither global warming nor a swine flu crisis?

“Weeeeeelll, I guess the spin doctors have to get to work.”

First of all, we now know that British researchers are about as truthful as US politicians, putting both just below used car salesmen.

Second, no spin required on this one, they just don’t talk about it.

Someone had better let Obama know, so he can cancel the state of emergency. I’m sure he’ll be happy to put peoples’ minds at ease over this.

Well, then it’s official. LMAO

Months late and hundreds of millions short...

My wife has had the flu twice so far this fall. She got both flu vaccines, and I haven’t had either. She couldn’t even pass it off to me.

Oh the humanities...

So, we're back to calling it "swine flu" again? What the heck happened to "H1N1"?

This little piggy went to market, This little piggy stayed at home, This little piggy had roast beef, This little piggy had none. And THIS little piggy got "Wee-wee'd"...all the way home.

Oink.

" experts estimated that out of every 100,000 infected people in Britain, about 26 died."

Wow, thats 0.026% mortality; its almost as deadly as Hay Feaver!

Better quarantine the whole city if anyone gets infected.

"First of all, we now know that British researchers are about as truthful as US politicians..."

And about five times as truthful as US 'researchers' have been on this imaginary flu!

Well, that works out perfect; two vaccines, two flus!

Yes, she’s batting a thousand. I kidded her by suggesting she refrain from any further flu vaccines this year. Course she’s had them both, so no danger of that.

This is what Comcast News has to say (today's post) about swine flu in America:

CDC: About 1 in 6 Americans have had swine flu

ATLANTA — Health officials now estimate that swine flu has sickened nearly 50 million Americans and killed nearly 10,000.

The new estimates mean about 1 in 6 Americans have had the illness. The figures were released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday.

The CDC also estimates that 200,000 people have been hospitalized since the virus was first identified in April though mid-November. That's the same amount that occurs normally in an entire flu season.

The death toll seems high ...

It's complete BS. Another contrived emergency by the Obummer crew and the world government lobby. Get used to it though. We are going to live in perpetual crisis so that they can “do what is necessary” meaning crush all dissent and liberty. Hope you like living in mediocrity and poverty because it is coming.

Nah... that 0.02% mortality, a little less than the English number quoted...

If my calculator got all of it's zeros correct...
