US President Palin? You betcha! (I think they are starting to be believers.)

Alaska's fairest Sarah Palin is on a mission. The US vice-presidency was snatched from her manicured grip, which from her perspective is just as well. This is no number two kinda gal. She's no easily-muzzled sidekick. Those who believed she would pale into insignificance following the McCain camp's defeat got it wrong. She's hungry for the top job and, judging by her rising popularity, she just might land it.

A December CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll shows that she has a popularity rating of 46 per cent with eight-out-of-10 Republicans viewing her favourably. Incredibly, she is only one point below President Barack Obama's approval rating, which currently stands at just 47 per cent.

She's no Einstein, but she's certainly a street-smart strategist who is succeeding in turning her supposed intellectual deficiencies into an asset. She knows that you don't have to be a genius to become president of the United States; her role model president Ronald Reagan had a very average IQ of 105. Americans don't hanker after nerds. They prefer good looks and likeability. Palin, a former beauty queen, is blessed with oodles of the former and is now carefully cultivating the latter.

Ever since she deserted her post as governor of Alaska last summer for the good of the Alaskan people, naturally she hasn't put a foot wrong. Indeed, her strategy is quite brilliant.

First, she ‘wrote' her best-selling, serious-wealth-creating memoir Going Rogue in collaboration with Lynne Vincent, a senior writer for the Conservative Christian publication World Magazine that effectively distances her from the failures of the McCain bandwagon. Americans may be queuing up to get hold of it but Michael Wolff, Rupert Murdoch's biographer, is unimpressed. Such "books are a sales tool," he says, pointing at Palin's. "They're propaganda and they're fake…"

You mean, she isn’t an Affirmative Action Marxist Kenyan Community Organizer with no record of birth, school or professional career, other than “present”.

If Obama is our President with no credientials; Sarah will be light years ahead, just with a long-form birth certificate.

On what does Ms. Heard base this statement? I don't think that's quite true.

Snarky article... but the democrap-media complex is beginning to think the hitherto "unthinkable": President Palin 2012.

Sarah Palin Has Rehabbed Her Image: Now What?

Persevering with Palin (Even a lefty at the Guardian sort of gets it!!)

Sophisticated Sarah Palin is Part Hepburn, Part Loren, Part Thatcher - Part Annie Oakley

SARAH PALIN: From my family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas

I think her top priority is to sweep out the corrupt elitists.

If the presidency results from that, so be it.

I’d trade a few presidential IQ points to pick some basic character and honesty points any day..... even more these days.

Very few people in this world are Einsteins, and at some point in his life Einstein was not well thought of.

The article says a lot of things that are interesting but not necessarily true, the author uses positives about Sarah in a backhanded way.
Like this one:

“Second, although she’s kept her trademark hairstyle and red jacket, she’s reinvented herself when it comes to showing off her grasp of issues”

Well, she no longer has Steve Schmidt and Mark Wallace and the campaign staff deriding her from giving an answer that they wrote for her. She was trying to stick with the script during the campaign as much as possible. Now she is giving answers that she believes in.

Gonzo, I know you didn’t write this article, your point is well taken, Sarah Palin is a leader who figured out how to get things done. The press really irritates me. I wish I could figure out how to stop their nastiness.

If you're tempted to write off this woman as a dunderhead, don't! Her scheming is working at a time when more and more Americans are becoming disillusioned with their silvery-tongued commander-in-chief. The idea that the lady might be changing the Oval Office drapes in 2012 is spine-chilling.

The libs are suddenly realizing the explosive nature of the force they helped unleash from Alaska...

How does this writer have any idea what Reagan's IQ was? Or for that matter any idea what Palen's IQ is?

All I know about Reagan's intelligence is that he was more than smart enough to set the Democrats game back 20 years back while at the same time out maneuvering the chess players in the Kremlin at every turn. If he was only slightly above average in intelligence, what does that say about his defeated enemies?

No it's not true. As I recall, some panel of eggheads decided to attempt to reverse engineer what the IQs of presidents probably was based on their policies, writings, etc. Of course liberal icons scored like 400, conservatives like Reagan were lucky to get above 45. Go figure, academics determined that conservatives are dumb based on arbitrary criteria they made up.

If Reagan’s IQ was 105 (possible because it’s within the normal range), he arguably directed all of it toward the preservation of the United States, and in the process, toward the preservation of the world. I know the foregoing is a heresy to any liberal.

This author is a dufus. Who in his or her mentally-stable mind would compare any politician to Einstein? I bet the wuss won’t compare his homobama with Einstein, because he knows homobama has no place alongside the great physicist.

President Palin is going to inherit the biggest man-made, political/economic disaster to ever plague an American president, far worse than what Reagan inherited from Carter, worse than what Roosevelt got from Hoover, so she better be thinking about a crisis management team to handle this critically injured nation. Sarah will need her principles, strength, and wisdom far more than she’ll need an Einsteinian IQ. That said, she offers us far more IQ than the present occupant of the White House.

Nah.

That's the job she wants.

It's Obama who would quit the WH in a heartbeat to become President of the World.

It's just a stepping-stone.

They hanker after wisdom.

Reagan and Palin have it in spades. Their liberal critics do not.
