Yes, same thing happened to me as well. There I was doing some ice-fishing out by the lake when that nasty fish gave me a tumble and my Glock collection went straight into the water...30 feet down!
My cannon on the other hand..well I guess whoever stole it outta my backyard has it as a stage prop in some theater somewhere.

That is what I have been saying. Another person chewed for being so extreme. I hoped that since everyone is seeing the light we can still win at the ballot box first. but this group in congress may lead us in a civil war if and when all else fails. We still have elections. But that may not be enough.
The tea parties did start late...after the deed was done inc ongress to have no voice. We have to let it work.
Corrupt, yes. The supposed checks and balances of the past no longer work because all of the people we have in government now are either spineless moronic wusses or immoral and criminal-minded, driven by greed for power and the wealth that their elitist power will bring.
There is only one person out there that I trust right now to NOT be corrupted. That person is Sarah Palin.
If she’s as smart as I know she is, she won’t run for President. It would destroy ...THEY would destroy...her and her family. Just for running again.

A military coup....hmmm. I wonder what the majority of our military would think about Zero and his “”civilian forces”” firing on Americans trying to get back some sanity in this country. I’m thinking they wouldn’t approve. Ergo why Zero thinks he needs his civilian force.
I’m thinking that if Zero starts building that force, most of our military will start thinking in terms of becoming an “opposing force”. Maybe I’m just being wishful there tho.

They work up to a point, but not where it matters to the people. The system checks each branch with the others, but that's where it ends. The three branches squabble for power between themselves, but they never question that it is surely one or the other of THEM that hold the power. The only time you'll hear a politician bringing up checks and balances is when another branch has encroached upon the power of another branch. They are never concerned about the government gaining too much power--just who gets to weild it.
