A liberal blogger on the DUmpster forum today showed the pathological depths to which the far left has sunk in its hatred of America and reflexive support of those who would seek to harm us.
In a forum discussing whether the Christmas day Nigerian Islamic bomber should face a criminal or a military trial, a blogger wrote "He is not a terror suspect - He's a prisoner of an illegal war who should be released with all the rest. We should be the ones on trial."
When challenged by a fellow blogger if "he would say the same thing if the bomb had worked, and if 300 people had been killed??", the hateful anti-American blogger replied "Yes I would. We started this illegal war so we deserve to lose it. 300 dead barely compares to how many civilians the US have killed. "
There were a couple of other feeble challenges on the board to this statement, but the hateful blogger had the last word.
Clearly, thanks to a generation of public-school induced self-loathing compounded by political correctness and post-modernism, we now have a significant portion of the electorate which not only does not want the government to take strong measures to protect the homeland and deter attacks, but actually thinks we deserve such attacks, and is eagerly siding with the enemy, hoping for more potent and successful attacks, and more American casualties.
I have on occasion visited a couple of these sites, I am always amazed how so many people have EMOTIONAL arguments with no substance or fact. Unfortunately I don’t do EMOTIONAL arguments. If you should by chance make a case based on FACT and LOGIC, or even DARE to invoke the US Constitution, you will immediately be branded a RACIST,BIGOT....then you will be banned
Looks like the time is right for another Crusade!

I would suggest that anyone who visits the DUmp should immediately jump into a sewer or cesspool to wash off.

How is this blogger any different than Jane Fonda who sat on enemy artillery pretending to shoot down American planes? This is old stuff, typical lefty crap that has been around for decades. Hell, Obama’s friend Bill Ayers plotted to kill 25 million Americans, and his creepy wife praised the Manson murders. And Obama is the effin President FGS.
Liberals hate this country MORE than the jihadis. Liberals want Western Civilization to be destroyed. Liberals love jihadis because jihadis are working hard to destroy Western Civilization.
Only question remaining is which one will reach its goal first.

A 'war' started by a democrat president without congressional authorization is the only proper way to use American military weapons on innocents the world over.
Dailycuss, moron-dot-org, and the like should have been enough for me to see that these people were not even part of the Rat Party (formerly the traditional Democratic Party).
They are not Third Way Democrats, "thug" (Chicago) Democrats, old-fashion FDR Democrats -- they are not even Obama 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus / street rabble liberals and the ideological issue (children) of same.

So I didn't get it until I read the book "The Argument – Billionaires, Bloggers, and the Battle to Remake Democratic Politics" by Matt Bai
To wit, "One of the hallmarks of netroots culture was a complete disconnect from history – meaning, basically, anything that had happened before 1998. I also learned from the book that there are many, many super rich "progressives" besides the Soros and Lewises funding these nuts. BTW, Mr. Bai is sympathetic to the progressives but he is pretty honest about what he saw hanging out with them.
