After a cold and rainy Christmas Day Rally at Walter Reed, Olney was the FReepers Christmas Gift. A misty rain was still there, blowing all over our glasses, but it was sufficiently warm that no gloves were needed. At least I didn't wear any. And the State Highway Administration has provided us with another flag pole support.
BELOW LEFT: The new signal pole that will hold some additional flags. Im putting up one flag on the power pole but the new pole will hold two. BELOW RIGHT: Lurker Bill setting up a banner on the soon to be torn down existing traffic pole. I assume that the raised planter will also be removed.
BELOW LEFT: Who can forget Week 5 when Doctor Raoul (back ground) used the planter? Thats Apple Blossom and BMWcyle. BELOW RIGHT: Raoul with gas mask and appropriate sign.
BELOW LEFT: Lurker Bill finally set up and ready to go. BELOW RIGHT: Halsey also showed up. Thats me and Matt in the back ground. Matt is the Texan who gave us the Navy flag.
If you hadnt been keeping track, the patriots this Saturday are Legionnaire Halsey (USMC, Korea), Lurker Bill and [Mrs] Trooprally and myself.
Matt is active duty Navy so while he was there, he was not actively waving, though he really did enjoy the hanks and waves from passing supporters. He also got a kick out of the passing police car that whooped his siren for us.
And there were two moonbats.

Hooray for the good guys. I am glad to see the improved weather!
Thank you.
You’re Welcome from the Olney patriots.
Speaking of good weather, looks like Friday will also be a good night for Walter Reed.

Thank you for the prompt AAR. You’re doing better. Well, here is a prayer that you have fair skys and calm winds every Friday & Saturday throughout the coming year. Most of all a prayer that you would no longer have to stand up for our troops every week. Either the moonbats leave or the troops come home. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Maryland PING!
Well Thank You for your post. Definitely a lot in there. If the TOTUS doesn’t change his WOT policy and change our troops’ Rules of Engagement, yea, bring them home.

You are Welcome; Thank You, and Happy New Year back at you.
Our snow from two weeks ago has since melted. Actually 90% of it melted Christmas night into Saturday. It will be in the low 40s tonight for Walter Reed, but breezy and in the 30s for Olney. Good thing we are experienced cold weather FReepers.
