30 Years of Global Cooling Are Coming, Leading Scientist Says

From Miami to Maine, Savannah to Seattle, America is caught in an icy grip that one of the U.N.'s top global warming proponents says could mark the beginning of a mini ice age.

Oranges are freezing and millions of tropical fish are dying in Florida, and it could be just the beginning of a decades-long deep freeze, says Professor Mojib Latif, one of the world's leading climate modelers.

Latif thinks the cold snap Americans have been suffering through is only the beginning. He says we're in for 30 years of cooler temperatures -- a mini ice age, he calls it, basing his theory on an analysis of natural cycles in water temperatures in the world's oceans.

Latif, a professor at the Leibniz Institute at Germany's Kiel University and an author of the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, believes the lengthy cold weather is merely a pause -- a 30-years-long blip -- in the larger cycle of global warming, which postulates that temperatures will rise rapidly over the coming years.

At a U.N. conference in September, Latif said that changes in ocean currents known as the North Atlantic Oscillation could dominate over manmade global warming for the next few decades. Latif said the fluctuations in these currents could also be responsible for much of the rise in global temperatures seen over the past 30 years.

So all that iceberg melt is going to freeze at the equator?

Where were the global warming "scientists" who were forecasting this 30-year cooling period before it began? The answer, of course, is that there were none. This cooling trend has caught them completely by surprise, which should cast considerable doubt on their predictions of global warming, global cooling, or global anything. They just jump on the bandwagon once a surprise trend occurs and presume to explain the reason for it. What ridiculous fools they are.

Perfectly put. Science is very important, and we should all value it and respect it. But when obviously biased, agenda-driven refugees from the hippie movement with climatology degrees start venturing into the "Nostradamus" realm of predicting natural events having to do with an extremely complex planetary system (the climate) that we don't yet fully understand, it's time to practice some healthy skepticism.

Go to hell.

As long as it's at least 70 degrees there.

Bad news for Al Gore...and this cooling info is coming from someone sitting on the Liberal Globalist whack-job nut-ball UN group IPCC.

WOW! It feels like the late 1970s all over again! Riots in Iran! Energy problems! Ice age coming! A black Jimmy Carter in the White House!

If you keep using the term “corrupt socialists” I am going to report you to the department of redundancy department.

The solution to this cooling crisis is clear. We need to limit carbon emissions; raise energy taxes, drive hybrid cars, and enact cap and trade.

Ah well... this tells it all...

German Professor Mojib Latif, one of many second generation Muslims born to immigrants in Kiel, is well known to students at the university as a fan of the hookah for consumption of his favorite 'honey oil' - in other words, highly refined hash, or kief. Parties held at his house feature arrays of elaborate multi-hose 'shishe' (water pipes) to provide the 'necessary warm atmosphere.'

In a word - this guy is 'hosed' in more than one way... LOL.

And it certainly appears the sun may have entered a new lower energy state.

Oh my God, what if it's collapsing in on itself and preparing to SUPERNOVA?!?!?!?!?!?!

Climate science isn’t science. If it were, then I would welcome 30 years of climate studies. As it is, all climate departmments should be dismissed. They simply can’t be trusted. And to the honest ones, if there are any, your colleagues have destroyed your field. We can’t do any real climate research until all of this generation is dead.

I expect they’ll turn the greenhouse gas thing on its head again. Remember, the greenhouse gasses were originally going to shade the earth like the smoke from a volcano and cause horrible winter. Then when it got warmer, they turned it around and claimed that it was trapping the heat in. Now they’ll switch back. That’s my guess.

I saw another possible shift the other day - fresh water shortages.

The agenda will remain the same - control of the population, energy usage, global government, etc.

They’ll just have to find another excuse to force it on us.

YEah, heh heh. I think we’re all ENJOYING this deep freeze this month a lot more than we would have other years because of the UNGODLY heat wave we endured last summer.

Remember last summer when the rest of the country was having the coldest summer on record and we were dying of 100+ temperatures for weeks and months on end? Oh yeah, I am loving this cold weather!
