Seriously, I speak Swiss so I could possibly pass for Amish... as long as I can still wear these under my aprons:

We've bought things from the Amish in Indiana, does that count?
Seriously, the way the bill is written, many can claim religious reasons to opt out & challenge it in court!!!
I think I'll get my ministers license online tomorrow & start my own church that is against government programs of any kind!!!

I’m against it. Once you starting making exceptions, where do you draw the line? Somebody will feel cheated. The Congressmen themselves should not be excempt from any law they make, either.

Easy. The communists understand that when it comes to government interference, the Amish are an intractable lot and would create a PR nightmare if all had to be rounded up and jailed or hung as planned by demorat thugs.Dead on.

How about Christian Scientists?
If they’re exempt, I may have to convert.

"...as long as I can still wear these under my aprons"Your shoes will be no problem.
A friend owns a clothing store in a small town that boasts a large Mennonite population. She sells very sexy lingerie. I joked about the lack of customers for such items in a small town. She said you'd be surprised at how much lingerie she sells... the Mennonite women buy it more than anyone. From that moment on, I have looked at Mennonite women in a completely different light. Whenever I see them in their plain long dresses, I have no problem with my imagination taking over.)))

It’s not the Amish the legislooters care about exempting. The groups they are exempting are the ones that constantly raise hell over everything : Atheists, Muslims and the Mexican worship of Santa Muerte, the saint of death.
