WICHITA, Kan. — A man who said he killed prominent Kansas abortion provider Dr. George Tiller in order to save the lives of unborn children was convicted Friday of murder.
The jury deliberated for just 37 minutes before finding Scott Roeder, 51, of Kansas City, Mo., guilty of premeditated, first-degree murder in the May 31 shooting death.

God has clearly told us that we are not to commit premeditated murder. Jesus took that commandment and made it even stricter by telling us that we are not even to hate anyone.
We don't have to ask a cute little bracelet question to know. We have already been told in the Bible what to do, and we know from His example.
The problem of God's allowing evil to occur and "doing nothing" is something that Christians have struggled with for 2000 years, and has no easy answers.
We are not going to solve the problem of evil in relation to the Goodness of God here on this thread. The one thing we know for sure is that we are not to compound evil with evil.
Do your part to combat the evil, but don't cheer murder as if it were good. It's not.

But have you ever considered that our once great nation corporately condemns babies to death every single day....50 million at last count?

Did you know that for almost 20 years Tiller has had no hesitancy in killing babies almost/or already full term....just because he could.
My granddaughter was born 8 weeks early--only 2-1/2lbs, and now... by God's Grace.... she is a bright beautiful 5 year old.
Many of the babies he killed were that size...weighed that much...or more!....but they will never grow into precious little boys and girls.
It should break our hearts for ALL the deaths of these innocent ones Tiller killed.

These were people, people like you and me and Eleni and the members of your family. Real, human people. Stopping Roeder was no different from stopping Dr. Menghele. Do you know who he was?
You spoke of God’s law in another post. How do you know Roeder wasn’t carrying out God’s law? It would not be the first time God smote some evil SOB through the hands of another man. The fact that Tiller stated and did carry on the late-term killings after man’s law failed to stop him tends to support this possibility. Or maybe you think man’s law rises above God’s law.

He took the law into his own hands. Let him pay the price. Otherwise, don’t be surprised when fundamentalist nutters of other ilks expect the same consideration for their own beliefs.
No. If not, what moral basis would you provide for saving lives? At the very least, the murder has to be imminent, with a specific victim or victims in mind.
So, Roeder would have been justified in shooting that guy at Ft. Hood just as he was opening fire up his victims. However, Tiller may have had a change of heart on that Sunday or on the way to work on Monday morning.
They are at arms length from the actual act of killing babies.
Adolph Hitler was always at arm's length of the Nazi Concentration Camp Killing Machine. With that being the case, do you also believe that there would have been no justification in killing Adolph Hitler in 1942?
