Photos: Hillary Clinton - Cinderella Scene With President Sarkozy in Paris!

United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton loses a shoe as she arrives at Elysee Palace in Paris, France on January 29, 2010 - as she met with President Nicolas Sarkozy. A very Cinderella like scene, Secretary Clinton and President Sarkozy seemed to have a good sense of humor about it.

Both politicians laughed together at the top of the stairs - very cute. Check out more photos of Secretary Clinton's 'Cinderella' scene in Paris, France below.

We see the picture of her shoe coming off, the picture of her shoe left on the stair, and the picture of her with her shoe back on. I wonder who picked her shoe up? If she did, there are probably some pictures of Hitlery from behind as she’s bent over picking up the shoe. I bet we’ll never see those. (Nor would we want to!)

RE: “I agree, she looks fine.”

***********

I also agree — and it looks like she has dropped a few pounds since becoming Secty. of State -

Ran right into her when visiting a NY friend in Chappaqua, NY, a few years ago — I think it was ‘04. She looked really nice — was buying a gift for someone in a cute store in the town.

She was pleasant to me and my friend and was beautifully dressed in a pretty feminine peach colored pantsuit. Yes, she hides those legs; she’s not the only one female that hides their ‘cankles.’

When I saw her her hair and makeup must have just been done as she looked, dare I say it, pretty! There was nothing masculine about her at all.

I’m no Clinton fan and never voted for her, but like a few others here I’d take her as FLOTUS (or even POTUS!) any day of the week over what we’ve got now.

Would have been a great photo op if he had thought to put it back on for her as the price did.

She must’ve borrowed Michelle’s size 14 herring boxes!

Not a bad photo of Hilary!. At least she looks put together, unlike our first ‘lady’.

Yep. While an ideologue like Obama, she is more pragmatic I think and while it isn't hard to care more for the USA than Obama, she definitely does I think.

Sarkozy is even shorter than Napoleon. I feel sorry for the guy.

Why? Those Celts really got around Europe in the old days -- not just Ireland, Scotland, England Wales, but also Spain, France, Italy, Germany, and Eastern Europe, and DNA is powerful down the generations.

Q. What is five feet tall and a mile long?

A. A Celtic parade.

I may make fun of her pantsuits on occasion, but IMHO Hillary always looks much better than Michelle. I know people probably criticized Hillary back in the day, too, but as someone not really into politics at the time I never recall thinking she was inappropriately dressed, or was embarrassing.

From the stills (which usually don't give an accurate depiction of what occurred) it appears that Missus Clinton continued on after having stepped out of her shoe.
Why wouldn't she have stopped, backed up, and put it back on? Also, why didn't Sarkozy exercise his chivalry and do this for her?

Aside: Anyone making fun of Sarkozy's height need only look at Mrs Sarkozy - then, if you're a female, look in a mirror, if a male, look at your wife or girlfriend.

C'est la vie :^)

Hillary is actually sort of nice looking these days with her new longer hair style. Looks softer than her shorter hair styles. She should have done it years ago. Maybe she has a new heart throb replacement for Humma

In re: President Sarkozy’s height: My husband is barely 5’6”, I am taller than him, and I would have to say the old adage is true, good things do come in small packages!

Re: “Yep. While an ideologue like Obama, she is more pragmatic I think and while it isn’t hard to care more for the USA than Obama, she definitely does I think.”

*************

True, she is pretty much of an idealogue now, but her roots are far different from zero’s and I think that, like Bill, she could ‘pivot’ more to the center.

Her dad was a Republican, she herself was a “Goldwater Girl” in the ‘64 election cycle(!), and really became what she is today thanks to the influence of college and Bill Clinton. No matter what, I think she loves this country and is not totally on board with zero and his other Marxist thugs.

Remember that she and her own team in 2008 warned Dem voters about zero and about so much of what’s come out since the election about him — all while our side was busy worrying about McCain/Palin and other Republicans.

Many of Hillary’s voters have appeared at Tea Parties and such as they, too, have many fears about Obama and company.
If Hillary dared make a run against Obama in 2012, I would not mind!
