Sarah PAC, the political action committee of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, collected $1.4 million over the final six months of 2009, a solid -- if not spectacular -- total that demonstrates her fundraising capacity as she mulls a bid for national office in 2012.
"We are thrilled," said Palin senior adviser Meg Stapleton about the fundraising total. "Common sense Americans know the direction we need to take this country and that Sarah Palin will be instrumental in taking us there this year."
For the year, Palin raised roughly $2.1 million through Sarah PAC and ended the year with $900,000 in the bank. She donated $64,600 to candidates and party committees.
That relatively high burn rate is due to an expansion of the organization's staff, according to those familiar with its operations. (Remember that with Palin out of office -- she resigned the governorship in July 2009 -- her PAC is her only political and policy vehicle.)

“even the top receipiant of funds from Jack Abramhoff JD Hayworth.”
Maelstorm, You just won’t quit, will you? STOP lying about this. You’re making a complete fool of yourself...following in McCain’s footsteps again! JOhn McCAin has blood on his hands for all the murders of US citizens by his beloved illegal aliens. Anyone supporting him does as well.
Indians, Lobbyists and Arizona Politics...OH MY!

It isn’t a lie. It is true. Now the funds may have been legitimate but it is the appearance of impropriety that matters. Also Hayworth has never been shy of spending. All I care about is that we maximize the win across the board in Arizona. I’m not going to waste my time supporting a flawed candidate to get rid of a candidate, McCain, who has been voting lock step with me against Obama. Hayworth should prove his worth by trying to win back his old seat which he lost because of the Abramhoff scandal. That is the historical fact. I don’t hate JD I just don’t think now is the time to resurrected big spending Republicans who lost their seats in 2006. He is a flawed candidate. I don’t understand why Chris Simcox isn’t the guy you are choosing to get behind. He has actually did something from the grassroots. I personally think both he and Hayworth should stop the nonsense and work to defeat the 5 Democrats who hold congressional seats in Arizona.
BLAH, BLAH, BLAH
You are hopeless and YES you are lying about Hayworth.
Looks like no one is going to stop you, so go ahead, you might snag a few idiots with your disinformation. That’s the only thing that’s kept McCAin in office thus far!
Its not secret anymore, Kasich is rockin!
HECK YEAH..GO KASICH!!!
