Britain is facing a new Al Qaeda terror threat from suicide ‘body bombers’ with explosives surgically inserted inside them.

Until now, terrorists have attacked airlines, Underground trains and buses by secreting bombs in bags, shoes or underwear to avoid detection. But an operation by MI5 has uncovered evidence that Al Qaeda is planning a new stage in its terror campaign by inserting ‘surgical bombs’ inside people for the first time.

We just watched “The Hurt Locker”, (a terrific movie). In the movie, most all the roadside bombs (IED’s) were activated by cell phone transmission. I’m wondering if those surgically implanted bombs could not be activated the same way.

Oil is 100% fungable. Were we to stop importing it, the world price would collapse along with every rogue regime on the planet. It would mess us up about as badly as we were messed up in WW-II for about one year; after that we'd be better off in perpetuity and 80% of the trouble in the world would have vanished.

The theory I'm still waiting to hear is how anybody thinks Ike and FDR would have prosecuted WW-II while paying Adolf Hitler 80 dollars a barrel for oil or, if you prefer, engaging in practices which ensured that Hitler got $80/barrel from other customers, again it's all the same.
