Are we to be divided along color lines?
Feb 10, 2010 | McKenzie7

I don't understand why one group of our Lawmakers are meeting with the President to the exclusion of the rest of them regarding employment in the Black community. Do only white Lawmakers represent the 'whites' and black Lawmakers represent 'black' Americans?

It makes me sick at the stomach to see how we are divided along skin color lines since this administration came to power.

Am I wrong in my assessment?

Another fraud from 2008 — Obama was to be “post-racial”.

He never meant it — not for minute.

As sure as the demographics have changed in our young country, the borders have changed as well. As one changes so will the other.

No, you are not wrong.

President Bush would never have met with a group of white-only lawmakers, nor would he have even entertained the thought.

I wish some white congressmen would crash this little party. I’d like to see the reaction.

Character, common sense, courage. Those are the traits I expect from our leaders. 0 has none of them.

Another lie from Barry -oh....

a great indicator is how he and holder have swept the Black Panther issue under the carpet. If it were KKK it would be front and center....exemplary. Shows the real mentality. America is not blind.

Tiger Woods, in one of his many salacious texts to one of his mistresses, referred to himself as “Blasian.”

I would just love to see a Black Caucus which included someone like Allen West, or one of the other wonderful black conservatives.

Your assessment is simplistic. Race has ALWAYS been a primary dividing line in American culture and American politics. Obama is not the first Democratic candidate to get 90% support from black voters.

US Law and Supreme Court rulings REQUIRE states to gerrymander districts that are majority black for the explicit purpose of electing black officials. It works because, in general, blacks vote only for blacks.

The Dems are trying to engineer newer immigrants into also organizing by race and ethnicity, based on perceived racial grievance and racial solidarity. They have had good success with Latino/Hispanics and are starting to make inroads with Asians in getting them to vote this way.

So far (excpeting perhaps the last three special elections where it is hard to tease out all the factors leading to Democratic defeat) whites have resisted using race as a primary sorting mechanism on who they vote for. Although the Republican party almost always wins a majority of white voters nationwide in Presidential elections.

The Meida Elite is very invested in maintaining this asymetrical state as long as possible. Obama, by so clearly failing to be the “post racial” leader he implied, may be hastening the day when our politics become even more explicitly racial, and the GOP (or a replacement) becomes an explicitly pro-white party.

As you imply, the state of affairs where black organization for political ends is encouraged, and they go get real benefits for themselves not available to others (affirmative action, quotas, special hate crime rules, minority set asides in contracts, yada yada yada) but a similar organization for political ends by whites is tacitly forbidden (by media and the elites) is too nonsensical to survive much longer.

Particularly when we are being constantly reminded that we (whites) will soon be a minority in the USA. Maybe it *is* time to start acting like the other minorities and organize on behalf our oursleves, rather than continuing to promote univeral ideologies that (in the end) are always turned against us.

Who nurtured and raised Obama?

They must have been terrible people for him to turn on all white people!

Or he's was a screwed up little kid in search of some kind of identity who was perverted by Marxists who used his weaknesses against him.

I am a simple person.

I guess, what I didn't expect to see was such blatant racism!

On a personal level, I have already started.

This month I am celebrating White History Month and will each February. ;>)

What exactly did you expect? Racial hatred exists on both sides of the Black/White divide; the difference is that it’s O.K. for Blacks to hate whites; just as it’s o.k. for them to lie about the fact that they actually hate whites. It’s purely and simply the “American” way. And it’s going to continue on like that until the country either disbands or get’s geographically divided.

Or to quote a famous guy, “it is what it is”.
