Wow. A Kennedy running for cover in the NE because he knows he’s going to lose and wants to stay ‘election pristine’ so he can run for ‘Olde Ted’s’ seat sometime in the future when those awful Tea Parties stop. Who would have believed it.
To: NYer
Do you think he’s quitting so he can fulfill his lifelong dream? Chasing butterflies and watching the clouds form shapes of dragons.

It is an opportunity for a Real American Conservative that will cut the government down (in half). All present members of the House and Senate who are left wing or support large government should be defeated. Cut everything in half except for the Defense which the Constitution says is the real duty of the Federal Government. Most of the laws passed by both parties are non Constitutional. So elect someone who will support and defend the Constitution and go back to a small federal government. As was stated in the Constitution.

A Scott Brown candidate CAN win. A hard right ideolog WILL LOSE! Let's see:
- Martha Coakley portrayed Scott Brown as a pro-life conservative.
- The mainstream media portrayed Scott Brown as a pro-life conservative.
- Scott Brown's apologists portrayed him as a pro-life conservative.
And despite being portrayed as a pro-life conservative Scott Brown won by five points. If a candidate who is portrayed as a pro-life conservative can win in Massachusetts that means a genuine pro-life conservative can win ANYWHERE.

"...when those awful Tea Parties stop..."LOL... there are now a number of RATs retiring or not seeking reelection this cycle. This has the "Win by any means necessary" stench of Rahm Emanuel on it if you ask me.

He said his life is taking a new direction.
Hopefully it will be away from other parked vehicles, curbs, abutments and store fronts. Most likely it will be back to some Georgetown pusher.

There are still a lot of Catholics in RI so a candidate a little to the right of Brown can still do well imo, in fact Kennedy’s recent attacks on the Church didn’t serve him well.

I was in Providence the day after Scott Brown won the election, and several of the folks I was with were thrilled he won, and were wishing that someone like him would run against Patches. I’m sure they’re glad he decided not to run again.

I know Suzy, can you imagine how happy conservatives in RI are tonight? I hope you enjoyed the nice food down there in Providence - love the place, especially Federal Hill.
