So, you're saying you are pro-choice when it comes to suicides, right? I mean, a woman has a right to do what she does with her body, right? Next you'll be telling me that suicide is okay because the corpse is merely an "unviable tissue mass".
Besides, jumping into the Bay ought to be a very ecological way to die. Some shark or whale is likely to come around and recycle your carcass while other species are nibbling on your decomposing parts. Although the shoes are likely to be a problem. Best to remove them first before you jump.
The more I think about it, the more I don't understand why liberals would want to stop anyone. I mean, think of the CO2 emissions that are saved the planet by not breathing. Not that I really want to encourage such a thing but if you'll show me your Democrat voter registration card, I'll be right over to give you a final shove. ;P

It isn't just "notoriously morose gays" who jump from the bridge. My godfather jumped from the GG Bridge 10+ years ago. Straight - married for over 30 years - three kids - and a grandchild. We still don't know why he jumped - he didn't leave a note.
IMO, they can do what they want to stop people from jumping. However, if someone is bent on ending their life, they will find another way.

I’m not a fan of assisted suicide but that isn’t the same as going it alone.
Going it alone leaves only one person to deal with the moral issues.
