this poll has been a little jumpy this week.
That’s really a sharp decline from a few days ago, when he was almost 50/50.
“During the health care debate, his numbers plummeted, but have leveled off since then.”
Which is why we probably should be grateful for his insane plan to bring this no-win issue back front-and-center this week (along with the corollary message that he plans to ignore the 61% of Americans who want to scrap the current bills and start over).
Are we SURE this guy’s strings are being pulled by Soros? He is so toxic to his party’s fortunes right now that I sometimes wonder whether there isn’t some Republican who is paying him big bucks to take the suicidal positions he’s been taking in recent weeks.
-11 two days ago and now -17... put down the crack pipe scotty... work on your methods.
LLS
Pretty much.
The guy is the Campaigner in Chief, a perpetual campaigner. That's all he knows show to do. He doesn't have a clue about actually governing, given hat he never governed anything before in his life.
His flaws reside in his weighting.
LLS
He is not his father... that is the problem.
LLS
WHen he drops lower, Ya think maybe he’ll go “Bishop” on us?
I thought the same thing and here is an obvious explanation.
The President is now 100% for the health care ram-through. The alst time the health care debate was raging his approvals were declining. Now he is at the center because the bill is now coming from him for all to see.
People are seeing it and they are now disapproving once again.
Next stop is the high 30’s.
He hasn’t listened to us yet, why start now? It will just mean we were too stupid to understand what he was saying and he will make more speaches to stupid old us.
I would say Rasmussen is the most accurate pollster out there . . to the extent that he is constantly being attacked by the liberal media as being too weighted against the Dems.
R was the first poll to identify the Scott Brown candidacy as being winnable. The others were saying he was 30 points behind.
He’s going to be challenged in the primaries by Hillary and perhaps Bayh so he’d be severely damaged goods IF he made it to the general election on 2012 (a la GHWB in 1992).
I also predict the birth certificate/citizenship issue will he brought up; most likely by Hillary.
The Democratic party has become a loose coalition of special interest groups lead by radical leftists. Homosexuals, environmentalists, feminists, blacks and hispanics, Unions and admitted card carrying communists and socialists make up the party.
He appears to have lost both the radical leftists of these special interest groups and the centrists.
The reason there have been very few successful Democratic Presidents is because these special interest groups have few values in common that unite them as a party. there are two that I can think of, they hate traditional values and conservative priniciples and they are elitists that believe the majority of Americans are too stupid to make decisions for themselves and their families.
You can’t do what is in the best interest of the country and satisfy these special interest groups demands.
Why are these numbersfluctuating so much day to day?
On Hannity... the day before Brown won... both zogby and ras picked coakley to win by less than two. He WAS accurate... not so much these days.
LLS
You are wrong about Rassmussen. His last poll was about 9 days before the election, when Coakley was ahead by 2.
He didn’t poll after that.
What did I miss? Whose clock did he clean at Baltimore?
The more he talks the lower the points go...SO let him talk! Hope the MSM puts every word he says on all the networks during the most active, best programing....Then both his and their ratings go down even faster.
Demographicly the US is approx 67 white; 15 black; 14 Hispanic; 3 Asian; 1 other. Figure 90 blacks and atleast 2/3 Hispanic favor Obama we are looking at 25 percent of population. That does not leave much support amongst white voters for Obama. I always said that if the US voted along racial lines, the Dems will not be able to win.
