"When GOP gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina said on Wednesday evening that Gov. "Rick Perry is leading Texas all right - right into a ditch" - the object of her criticism was sitting directly below the podium where she stood."

"In her speech, Medina said that this isn't a three-way race but rather a race between a grassroots activist and "two big-government incumbents."....

Wrong, Senora Medina. It's a three way race between Perry- (despite his sometimes Lib leanings) under whose leadership since 2001, Texas has emerged as better off than almost any state in the union, treacherous RINO Hutchison and a Ron Paul/truther moonbat ex nurse, owner of a small mom and pop business with zero experience who is a dishonest hard core Libertarian trying to pass herself off as a 'tea party Republican.

"U.S. Sen Kay Bailey Hutchison, said that unlike him, she supports term limits. "It isn't healthy" to have the same person controlling the state's boards and commissions, she said. "Gov. Perry does not believe that we should have term limits. I do." ....

Well, you treacherous* Washington RINO, it seems that it hasn't been all that 'unhealthy' for Perry to have served since 2001 since Texas is doing better than almost any state in the union.

As for Medina; for God's sake, has anybody really looked into her platform- her background? Has this woman even been vetted?

She wants legalized drugs.

She backs gay marriage.

.

She has not spoken to her elderly parents for YEARS. They had to find out she was runing for governor of Texas by reading the newspaper!

http://www.statesman.com/news/texas-politics/medina-hailing-from-beeville-learned-political-skills-on-229907.html?srcTrk=RTR_95609

What does this say about this woman's character?

And rumors are begin to surface about husband Noe's past associations.

Take a look at some of the statements she has made: "It’s a shame isn’t it, that Republicans continue to ignore Hispanics especially here in Texas?’

"Who is going to think more about Latino families? Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchison or me, who has a Latino family?”

"Being married, however, to someone with a Mexican American heritage, I certainly embrace the culture.”

"I believe we too often get into race when it’s immaterial.” (Obummer, is that you?)

I don't believe for one minute Medina's propaganda about wanting to strengthen the border!

La Raza probably has her in their back pocket!

This idea that Beck (or anybody else) sabotaged Medina is absurd. If you can’t answer “did the govt have anything to do with the 9/11 attacks?” you're not be fit to run for dogcatcher.

Glenn Beck has once again helped the tea-party stay in the Republican mainstreamby by weeding out dangerous fringe thinkers like Medina.

Medina is NOT representative of the Tea Party movement. She USED them- latched herself on to them. She’s a hard core Libertarian who has realized that the Libertarian Party will never win squat and that the only possible way to get herself into office is to do what Ron Paul did and try to pass herself off as a Republican in hopes that it will fool enough of the voters enough of the time. Thank God Glen Beck outed her in time.

Retrieve your sombrero from the ring and go home Senora Medina. You're Texas toast.

Are we so desperate to clean house of 'career politicians' that we jump on the bandwagon of an unknown ex-nurse with zero experience, questionable judgement and loyalties and who worked on the RON PAUL presidential campaign???

It would be nice if a Sarah Palin came up out of the tea party movement.

This has not happened.

Debra Median is no Sarah Palin.

REPEAT: Medina is NOT representative of the Tea Party movement. She USED them- latched herself on to them. She’s a hard core Libertarian who has realized that the Libertarian Party will never win anything and that the only possible way to get herself into office is to do what Ron Paul did and wrap herself in the Republican cloak in hopes that it will fool enough of the voters enough of the time.

Before we boot Rick Perry out, we'd better take a good long look at how Texas stands in comparision to other states today, and be D*MN sure we know just what we are replacing him with.

Maybe a true Conservative will emerge in the future for Texas but we have no choice this election year.

* REMEMBER THIS,TEXANS:

Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress

One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before. http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/43422

Well, if she really isn’t running again no matter what, then I don’t care. I just don’t want to lose that seat to a rat.

I don’t really see that happening. I would rather dump KBH and get a real conservative. Which she is not.

I don’t think it will go to a democrat this time. However Texas is gaining population at a fairly fast rate many of which aren’t necessarily conservative or even conservative leaning, imo. White was looking at the senate race until Schiefer [sp] met with him and convinced White to run for gov. if he pulled out of the gov. primary. I think Sharp is still out there hoping for a run whenever it happens.

Watch this video from yesterday with Medina and Judge Napolitano if anyone cares to learn about the real Medina instead of the myth created by Beck.

http://freedomwatchonfox.com/2010/02/24/02242010-freedom-watch-86-w-debra-medina-karen-kwiatkowski-matt-welch/101347/

I was at the 10th Amendment meeting that he talks about here. The Judge and Governor Perry spoke. And the Judge’s description in the video of the response that Medina received when he announced her as the staunchest supporter of the Constitution and state sovereignty is accurate.

Many Texans are more interested in state sovereignty than silly conspiracy theories. I am amazed at the number of Freepers that are more interested in conspiracy theories than real freedom. You people need to wake up. After being a part of this group for more than 10 years I find this shocking. Freedom is the most important thing and many fellow-Freepers are buying into the distraction. Keep your eye on the ball.... EVERY freedom candidate is going to be attacked for some idea that doesn’t fit the establishment mold. Keep your eyes on the ball—— freedom through the constitution must be the focus -— it doesn’t matter what Beck says.

She’s not a truther. She fumbled a question. She stated that she is not a truther and...

You are not the only one who heard her response. She is clearly open to the "truther" theories.

Actually, I’ve seen the video, and read the transcript just to make sure I wasn’t missing something, and she did indeed say exactly the same things that Troofers say when they’re cornered on the issue. I suspect that her later claim that she’s not a Troofer stems more from the fact that she realises how radioactive it is, more than anything else.

Fire CAN melt steel. Google it!

Rhetoric 101: "Are you still beating your husband?" It is a simple question-yes or no?

Disclaimer: I am not a Texan, I have no vote in Texas, I just hate to see people suckered by ignorant political tricks.

Review it again. You miss alot. Most of what people say about the interview comes from the mockery Beck & Company spew before and after the fact. Her answer has little to do with the accusation of "Troofer"

If Beck had the goods on her why did he not just ask about the La Raza issues, parents etc as occur in this thread?

The real reason? It is easier and more effective to create an ad hominem smear than to have an actual interview.

You should not allow yourself to be governed by master manipulators such as Beck. Just sayin.

Medina does not worry me, but now Beck does. He should worry you as well.

I did, and she still comes off looking like a Troofer.

I have to laugh at this notion that Beck "set up" Medina. All he did was ask her a question that required a simple yes or no answer. If she wasn't a Troofer, all she had to say was "No." She didn't, and hemmed and hawwed on it, because she's a kook who thinks (despite the fact that every "good question" asked about 9-11 has been answered a thousand times over) it's possible that Bushitler brought the towers down.

Your is exactly what you "spinners" have done... taken an answer that indicated that there are questions and turned it into a statement of "bushitler took down the trade center". She never claimed anything remotely close to what you would have people believe.

So, you spin and change the focus from constitutional government to a conspiracy theory... because Beck told you to.

She’s not a truther.

Liar.

She fumbled a question.

Liar.

She stated that she is not a truther and there is NO proof in her background of your dishonest claim.

Liar.

Her years as a Ron Paul buttbuddy is more proof she is a truther and a liar.

How is Medina coming on her campaign promise to end gun registration in Texas?

No....the focus is on a conspiracy theory because that was the specific topic of the question that Medina outed herself on. Look, we're not talking about rocket science here.

You can have constitutional government without getting it from a Troofer kook.

Did you read her statement that she posted 2 hours after the Beck interview?

http://www.medinafortexas.com/getPost?p=272

Quote: "I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have never been involved with the 9/11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11."

In other words "having questions" does not mean she believes that "bushitler flew planes into the trade center", as you would have people believe.

Quit spinning her comments... because Beck told you to.

Just give it a rest will ya? You are the one doing the spinning here.
We have all listened to the interview. You just can't spin it.
Medina is finished, and it's shown in the polls. We got to be thankful her 9/11 trutherism came out before the primaries. We dodged a bullet right there. We could have ended up with a nutcase.

Do you understand how radio works?

More than one person heard the interview as it wasn’t beamed to your radio alone.

We listened to what she said and the vast majority have determined that she is indeed a truther.

If you need to hear it again go here: http://blogpimpin.blogspot.com/

While you are at it why don’t you explain why she later stated that no Police Officers were murdered on 9/11.
