I see you have your priorities straight. :)

Conspiracy theory trumps Constitution and State Soveriegnty... haha, manipulated by single issue smear attacks that may or may not be true... because Beck told you to.

Also, you are wrong to say that "the majority have determined that she is indeed a truther". See page 20 of the PPP poll..

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/PPP_Release_TX_223730.pdf

50% don't think she's a truther
21% do
29% don't know

And to enter the conversation by calling me a "liar"... that's pretty classless and laughable... you, my friend, are the one that has the facts mixed up.

Medina is a lying truther and anyone who says she is not is either dead wrong or a lying truther.

If the shoe fits either wear it or stick it in yer mouth with the rest of your foot like Medina did.

As an engineer, the truther claims seemed valid on their face, but all of the claims about the buildings have since been refuted through experimentation and evidence.

It is healthy and appropriate to question the federal government, so I don’t see WHY this is a big deal, even if she felt that way.

The bottom line, as Pantera correctly pointed out, is that Constitution and State Sovereignty are far more important than anything else.

You know, the governor does not have that much power in Texas anyway. I was listening to Jeff Ward interview Perry on KLBJ on Tuesday. Jeff asked what the governor really does. Perry answered (and I am paraphrasing) that the governor has influence on the legistlature by telling them what he thinks. Wow.

He then stated that he has been effective at convincing the legislature what to do, and therefore he has been an effective governor.... lol.

Perry has NOTHING to do with the success of Texas. What we NEED is a governor who tells the feds to GO HOME and Medina is the ONLY candidate who will do that.

Actually, what she was trying to do was be a politician by not alienating her Alex Jones supporters. Thankfully, however, she is not a politician.

The question was NOT do you agree with questioning government. She was asked if the government was INVOLVED. Here is the actual question and her clear answer.

GLENN: Right. Here's then let me be more frank and ask you the question: Do you believe the government was any way involved with the bringing down of the World Trade Centers on 9/11?

MEDINA: I don't, I don't have all of the evidence there, Glenn. So I don't I'm not in a place, I have not been out publicly questioning that. I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard. There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there. So I've not taken a position on that.

GLENN: I think the people of America might think that might be a yes.

MEDINA: Well.....

Try to spin WHAT she said, not what you THOUGHT she said.

How do we know she'll do that? Just because she says she will?

She has already shown her true colors. Debra Medina is simply one of the attempts by the Libertarian Ron Paul faction to get one of their own into high-profile office. Fortunately for us, she outed herself in time for people who were initially smitten by her (and I agree that she makes a great first impression) to see and make revised decisions about their votes.

Perry isn't great, but he HAS reaffirmed the Tenth Amendment. We, the people will hold him to his promises to invoke should Obie's evil health care plan ever come into fruition.

If you have seen the power that the federal government has taken from the states over the past 90 years, then you would realize that a better governor is one who has LESS trust of the federal government than MORE of it.

No spin required. Truther or not, Medina is still the best candidate if state sovereignty and liberty are your priorities.

Per Rasmussen April ‘09 poll, 18%-25% of Texans want to secede. She should automatically get that vote, as no other candidate comes close. Medina takes a safer route, saying that we should hold the federal government accountable to the Constitution before considering secession, so she may get more than 18-25%. Keep in mind this is a Republican primary, so I think that the 18-25% will be slightly higher. Even the rats are voting for her in the republican primary in order to force a run-off between Perry and Hutchinson (see Austin American Statesman this week). I would put her at 25-30%, which may put Perry v Medina even with her Beck comments.

The likelihood of her winning is extremely small, but the more votes we can give her, the stronger the message to Washington.

Perry was just political talk, he has no power to reaffirm anything. He needs to send the Rangers over to the EPA and ATF offices and tell them to leave.

Texas legislature has NOT reaffirmed the 10th amendment. The legislature was not able to vote on the 10th amendment reaffirmation when the dems refused to let it come to a vote last spring. Same thing as the photo ID to vote... they killed that one too (in the same day I think).

Name one thing she has accomplished legislatively that proves this beyond her rhetoric?

I would not vote for a thruther any more than I would employ a pedophile to watch my kids. Might be the nicest person in the world and cheap too, but as a person who cares about my children’s and grandchildren’s future it ain’t going to happen.

At least now you admit that the goofy broad is a truther. Even though it took a couple of weeks, that is a start.

Yep, that is the exact point... and the reason I will vote for her tomorrow... and the reason every Texas Freeper should consider the real issue of this race... The Constitution and Texas Sovereignty.

Who is the best candidate to fight that fight? Some might say Rick Perry... great. I agree that Perry has many qualities that could make one go that way. But ask the right question before you vote. If a conspiracy theory opinion is more important to you than the position the candidate takes on the Constitution, then you will be easily manipulated.

I guarantee you, every true candidate that supports the Constitution will be smeared with an issue not unlike this. Free people really don't have allies anywhere in the established media or political parties. Restoring the constitution will require us to have the discipline to stay focused on what matters not the fabricated distraction.

Check Proposition 1 on the ballot. Vote YES.

Perry strongly supported HCR 50 regarding the Tenth Amendment. In July of last year, he also said he would invoke it to reject socialized health care if the morons in DC try to ram that down our throats.

I'm not a Perrybot by any means and wish we had true conservatives on the ballot. But we're going to have to hold Perry to the promise he made last July.

Of course, nothing legislatively, as she is not a politician.

Perry and KBH actually do have some power and they have done nothing, so choose your poison.

So with zero accomplishments, all you have to go by both her recent history as well as her various changes in position on things like immigration reform, is about as useless to use as her non-existent legislative history.

Prop 1 is just to see if we should keep pushing this issue, but it has yet to come up to vote in the legislature.

Yes, Perry supported HCR 50, and I love the fact that he says that he would like to invoke it, but if he is good at convincing the legislature to do things, then he should have convinced them to vote on this.

If Texas rejects socialized medicine, we will still have to pay for it. What would we do, refuse to pay the IRS?

It doesn’t bother you that after her Beck interview she immediately came out and lied about what she had said?

Liars and those who make excuses for them set my teeth on edge.

On the occasion the liars and their supporters do tell the truth how does one even know? Take their word for it, LOL?

So, since you think Medina is a liar... you are left to choose between 3 liars... that must really set your teeth on edge. Which liar are you going to vote for?
